You mean the point your entire argument was resting on [i.e. Magneto not ripping Iron Man to shredds] does not matter?

Not ripping a massively amped, prepped IM to shreds is the example used of a low showing thumb up

If we use what Carver said,... well, you already know the point. And it was more of a draw.

The point is, you have to be extremely powerful to do that and Magneto apparently is.

So now, yes I admit... Magneto is extremely powerful and should be able to tear Apocalypse and many others (more powerful than Apocalypse) apart, because already a weakened Magneto did that control of a Celestial... I don't even dare to think about fully powered Magneto.

More like, he knows Celestial tech, and for whatever reason you want to think up, he's able to take control of it.

An example would be Hank Henshaw. Able to take control of any machinery pretty easily, even when weakened. Hacked the Source Wall. Put him up against, say, Deathlok, and he'd win.

Put him up against any machine based character, and based on his Source Wall hacking feat, and you'd have a pretty strong case.

Does that give him the autowin against Swamp Thing, Odin, Thor, beings who don't have machines? Hell no.

Apocalypse truly doesn't stand a chance against Magneto. Actually, Apocalypse would be Magneto puppet.

Plus, I think you've missed carver's point:

A weaker Magneto controlled a Celestial.
Apocalypse's armour and tech are all....Celestial in nature.

This.

I didn't know the people he named walked around with Celestial armor on.

I see no reason why Magneto could not affect Apocalypse armor. It isn't near as advanced as a Celestial and the crazy thing about it is, he wasn't even at full power when he did it, and he did it effortlessly. If this is a full powered Magneto that Apocalypse is fighting, then...

Trust me, I am an Apocalypse fan but I am not going to ignore what Magneto has done because of my fanboyism either and the crazy thing about it is, it is in character for Magneto to rip that armor to shreds during the onset of the battle AND use it against Poccy.

Let us wait for the day when Magneto and Apocalypse really faces each other.

Apocalypse stomps him.

Trust me, I am a Wolverine fan...but for real though, point me to a thread where I've voted against Apocalypse minus this one.

The only way Apocalypse will ever win in a comic is if he stomps Magneto in the movie (Marvel have a way of bitching their characters to the movie audience), and even then, it's not a certainty.

If Fassneto ends up killing Apoc in the next X-Men, the character might as well play hide and seek anytime Magneto is in the same storyline, otherwise he'll be fisting his own ass for Eric's pleasure.

As of now, though, Magneto has left Apocalypse drooling or shattered in their major confrontations within the comics.

I've been trying to recuse myself from this thread due to my own noted Apocalypse super-fandom, but I'd just like to point out that while Apocalypse does use Celestial armor, he also has full control of his atomic structure as well as the power to adapt to conditions on the fly, so I'm fairly certain, with the knowledge going into the match that Magneto controls magnetism and ferrous materials (since Apocalypse would have prior knowledge of Magneto), and this being a non-plot driven forum fight, Apocalypse is likely not going to just stand there remaining in metallic form or not shield himself against EMPs while fighting him, or resort only to melee attacks by morphing his arms into blades, maces, and whips. He could just as easily morph his arm into a non-metallic minigun shooting ceramic rounds, or use his telekinesis and soul/energy absorption powers and drain Magneto like he did Cyclops. Not saying he will in every match, but saying that Magneto is not the only character in this match with options.

That's all I'll say. I won't comment again in this thread.

No please comment again for I have a question. I never knew that Apoc can morph into non metallic objects. Has he done so in the past?
