Kit Fisto vs. General Grievous

This is ROTS Kit and EU Grievous. I say Grievous pwns him. he took on 5 Jedi at once, and as Ki-Adi Mundi says "True we were exhausted, but when was the last time someone took on five Jedi and held their own?". Dooku is even often hard-pressed to defeat Grievous, and Grievous gives Mace a decent fight. I don't see Kit lasting to long.

Kit Fisto is a brutal fighter, and is considerably better than Obi-Wan at least twelve months into the Clone Wars. He's not better than Ventress apparently, which puts his victory in doubt. Grievous owned Ventress and Durge, if I'm not mistaken.

It could go in Kit's favor if he decided to use the Force offensively, but more often than not Grievous should be able to overpower him after a brutal fight. Kit's speed, swordsmanship, and inhuman flexibility will allow him to survive for a little while, but I don't think he can win.

Grievous respected Kit Fisto as a fighter (considering him a "real Jedi"), but alone, Kit wouldn't be able to take on a Clone Wars Grievous alone.

I'm inclined to give this to Kit. Holding his own against Palpatine for a few seconds beats any GG feats.

grevious was circumstantially beaten in their second fight. When fresh grevious was holding off both fisto and his Padawan and has shown superiority with the blade to tcw Kenobi, who himself has outdueled tcw maul, who's pre prime tpm incarnation was a tier 8 above fisto who is a tier 7.

I'd like to see Kyp use his light-whip along with his lightsaber. It would be a very close fight, but unless Kyp is going all-out I think Grievous wins.

Talk about mental gymnastics.

Fisto should handily win. His fighting style is perfect for fighting grievous because of grievous' disjointed, multiple saber style. Didn't Kit also school Grievous on his own and while fighting his magna guard?

Fighting styles don't mean shit. Anyways, Fisto was having difficulty with a damaged Grievous, though was winning, then Kit fled the moment the MagnaGuards came in.

How was he damaged? He was given replacement body parts IIRC.

But was in no state to fight since he was only repaired recently, he's also part organic which takes time to heal.

casually whips grievous. His Padawan and all of his clones are dead. Three magna guards show up. Same sort of magna guards that gave Shaak Ti trouble and gave Kenobi a brief but fairly even fight.

Sees no reason for potentially dying and decides to flee after owning Grievous. Still unimpressive somehow. erm

There was smoke coming out of grevious's parts:
quote:
The general quickly leaped up, black smoke pouring from his armor.

A fresh Grevious was at least equal to fisto+vebb despite an unfavorable environment:
quote:
He immediately ignited his two lightsabers and swung them at the Jedi, but the walls of the corridor were too narrow for him to maneuver.

quote:
He turned his body side-ways so that he could fight the Jedi on either side of him with two lightsabers each. It took all that the two Jedi had to hold off Grievous' advances.

So no, grevious is> fisto
One's outdueled TCW Kenobi despite a form disadvantage, the other is in a tier below TPM Maul

so you believe that Grievous could last even half as long as Fisto did against Sidius?
