Solar is more powerful then I first thought....

All Solar need do is think it, and time itself stands still:

----------

Solar nullifies the X-O Manowar's attack, and tells him what the ramifications of said attack would have been, if he had not interfered:

[Solar also demonstrates omnipresence].

"Time is like a book to me --- I can flip to any page I choose":

----------

"If left unchecked, the power of Solar could rip a hole in ALL existence", [the Multiverse]...

Solar then goes on to pwn the Manowar armor, with a single word:

----------

Creates a new world, with a gesture:

Solar explains that every time he reentered the timestream, he inadvertently created a whole new reality.... The exact number of realities Solar created is known only to him --- But what we do know, is this man, for all intents and purposes, created a Multiverse!:

More information on Mothergod's power (Solar defeated her):

http://i160.photobucket.com/albums/...hergodpower.jpg
http://i160.photobucket.com/albums/...ergodpower1.jpg
http://i160.photobucket.com/albums/...ergodpower2.jpg
http://i160.photobucket.com/albums/...ergodpower3.jpg

Solar's black hole wreaked havoc throughout existence:

http://i160.photobucket.com/albums/...rblackhole5.jpg

Solar created all the superpowered beings in the Valiant universe:

http://i160.photobucket.com/albums/...superheroes.jpg

Solar escaped the cincture wormhole on his own after being woken up:

http://i160.photobucket.com/albums/...pedwormhole.jpg

Teleports everyone out of the Lost Land to their own time periods before it collapses:

http://i160.photobucket.com/albums/...teslostland.jpg
http://i160.photobucket.com/albums/...eslostland1.jpg
http://i160.photobucket.com/albums/...eslostland2.jpg
http://i160.photobucket.com/albums/...eslostland3.jpg

Detaches his hand and gives it to Geoffry so he can use it to gather people to teleport to the lost land, then reattaches it:

http://i160.photobucket.com/albums/.../vsolarhand.jpg
http://i160.photobucket.com/albums/...vsolarhand1.jpg
http://i160.photobucket.com/albums/...vsolarhand2.jpg
http://i160.photobucket.com/albums/...vsolarhand3.jpg
http://i160.photobucket.com/albums/...vsolarhand4.jpg

The Lost Land was outside of the normal universe (Mothergod was a multiversal threat):

http://i160.photobucket.com/albums/...ideuniverse.jpg

Solar only lost to Mothergod the first time because Shadowman interfered. She even admitted he was stronger than she was:

http://i160.photobucket.com/albums/...arshadowman.jpg
http://i160.photobucket.com/albums/...rshadowman1.jpg

Traps Mothergod in the wormhole meant to contain him:

http://i160.photobucket.com/albums/...psmothergod.jpg
http://i160.photobucket.com/albums/...smothergod1.jpg

Shields Geoffry from a dimension - destroying black hole:

http://i160.photobucket.com/albums/...vsolarunity.jpg

Remember that black hole he destroyed? It actually took out the entire Lost Land (a whole dimension) and removed it from existence:

http://i160.photobucket.com/albums/...solarunity3.jpg

The most recent ones. That scan in particular was from Solar: Man of the Atom (Revelations).

Anyhow I read through the comics the proceed Solarís 60 issue run.
Solar: Man of the Atom V2
Solar: Man of the Atom (Revelations)
Solar: Man of the Atom (Hell on Earth).

The first two one shots where enjoyable, the 4 issue mine was confusing (bring back the guy that wrote the two one shots >_< ).

Any guesses or theories on how Solar became so powerful in the on shots or miniís. I have my own, but I want to cross-reference it.

I mean previously, Solar normally did not have the power to destroy a planet. Not until it absorbs loads of energy (the Sun is a nice Meal). Yet, we see that he is well within reason for him to destroys one, and yet he does not exhaust his powers like before.

He just learned how to control and use his powers (he was only limited by his inexperience and lack of knowledge about his abilities)

I am thinking he embraced what he became and let go of his humane part.

I've been an avid collector of Solar comics for quite a long time.

During the time when I was reading the comic, the biggest weakness I've known Solar to have is that he's just too powerful for his own good. He sometimes absorbs/generates SO MUCH power that he effs up a TON of stuff and he then suddenly flies into a fit of self-pity and depression. Lol.

He HAS shown a weakness with regards to Magic, tho (as shown in his battles vs Dr. Eclipse).

Yeah that was especially the case when he was just learning about his powers. Once he became more adept with them later on, he at least got past that. lol

I unno, i stopped reading Valiant after they did all the BS revisions of all their characters. Whatever happened after that? To the point when they made their BS revisions, Solar still had problems controlling his power and his emo nature. stick out tongue

My favorite title has always been X-O Manowar. Aric pwnd.

Ahhh, these scans come AFTER the BS revisions took place. Lol.

Well, the new Solar seems to act a whole less emo than the previous one.

Solar would TRASH any of the DC and Marvel top tier superheroes.

He'd make the likes of Superman his beeyatch.

One of his cooler feats is that he converts his body to Tachyons so that he can STOP time so that he can give himself time to asses a situation before deciding on a course of action to take.

There have been claims throughout the versus forum (as well as in this very thread,) that Solar is/was weak to the highest levels of magic. Well, that's not really the case at all.

Examples...

When Doctor Eclipse (who is one of the most powerful 'dark magic' users in the Valiant-verse,) battled Solar the first time - he did end up getting the better of him:

However, what must be noted is that Solar was not operating at full power during that confrontation. In fact, he was only operating at about half power:

And as this bio confirms, even the power of Master Darque (who is also one of the most powerful users of 'dark magic' in the Valiant-verse,) is nothing compared to Solar:

So is 'The Man of the Atom' necessarily weak against magic? Meh, not really.
