By the way I think Hank is basdaas I just think you intepreted the scans wrongly.

Yep.. They woke him up. Manhunters don't have the ability to ressurect...and hank isn't a computer program.

Remember...Hank has survived a few times without a body altogether.

Hold on what are you saying he was KOed and they woke him up? He was not KOed he was dead.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hank_Henshaw

A small fraction of Henshaw's corpse was found after the explosion. The Manhunters confirmed that he had perished, but were confused without his leadership. Seeking the leadership "programming" of their grandmaster, the Manhunters funnel a massive amount of energy into the Cyborg Superman, and he experiences yet another resurrection, crying when as he realizes he is alive yet again.

Henshaw is badass but you're badly misinterpreting scans. erm

I'm not saying that Avlon is right, but I guarantee he knows more about Cyborg Superman than the guy who wrote that Wikipedia article.

Henshaw has been undetectable many times. Manhunters don't have the ability to resurrect..and Borg isn't a program. Henshaw was KO'd. The 2nd scan makes it the clearest.

Read the scan again.
Again, his body can show no life-signs, but his consciousness lives on. He wasn't dead, just without a body until they remade it for him.

How do you know his consciousness lived on? When his body is destroyed he tends to move somewhere else, in this instance this was not the case. For example is consciousnes was not deteced in caost city from my understanding because he simply wasnt there.

Also hanks consciousness has been detected before we are we assuming that he was not dead?

Alf... I think you are just looking for positions to deny that he wasn't dead by playing semantics. Seriously... Henshaw was still on location with all these guys with no body around...and even lived in superman blues suit undetected for a while. After all...there have been instances of people being buried alive because they showed no signs of life when they weren't dead.

We'll try it this way. Can you explain and show if the manhunters have to power to resurrect dead characters?

Even if you don't fully agree...the fact that there was even anything left to resurrect after a solar system blast a point blank is impressive.

Hopefully, you will agree with me on the original point, but if not..I'm sure at least that part you can agree with.

Thanks for the props.

Well I dont mind discussing it further but when people start telling me im playing semantics I have a feeling insults are going to start being hurled. At the end of the day you know more about the character than I do so maybe its just ignorance but I felt your explanations were not satisfactory for the information that was presented. There is a mythbuster thread so you might want to discuss it there.

He actually wasn't trying to avoid it ..

And it's a Galaxy destroing blast, not Solar System, which is a lot more impressive.

There's nothing to discuss, a consciousness doesn't have life-signs when the body dies. THey remade his body, his lifesigns came back. Obviously his consciousness was still somewhere, just like all the other times his body has been destroyed.

From what I can see in the other cases his consciousness moved somewhere else and created a new body. From my understanding he was dead because he came back to the same messed up body he was using before.

Thats how it seems to work his body dies, then he moves somewhere else, not his body dies and then come back to the same body. I also dont see how you can bring the life signs back if his consciousness was somewhere else. I guess they could start the energy batteries working but his mind would not be present.

Also bare in mind that Henshaw did say that Superman almost killed him. If Superman can almost kill him its not illogical to think that a blast that can destroy a galaxy couldnt.
