Well Mahunters run off of the same energy as Green Lanterns, if you want to believe they have complete control over life and death, so be it. I could care less.

But the truth is, they just read the body as having no lifesigns. Because we know he can carry on without one. It doesn't mean Henshaw was dead. They never explained clearly, so you're just extrapolating.

Henshaw said Superman almost killed him. no expression Galaxy level blast > Supermans punch.

Also the guy who wrote the wiki for Henshaw thinks the same thing. Im not saying wiki is infalliable but I would assume that the person who wrote that must know a fair amount about Henshaw.

That was hyperbole unless we really think Superman's punch is = to a galaxy shattering blast. Right after his fight with 3 kryptonians, Henshaw was effortlessly pwning GL's, basically laughed off a bloodlusted Guardians blast, and then jumped in front of the Galaxy blast.

If he was truly near death..he would have been down and out the whole time after Supes. Parallax held his consciousness in his hand and thought he was dead. There is a guy who would know the difference at his level. Superman Blue couldn't detect him while he was in his uniform...and Blue's ability to scan is top notch.

Then there is the fact that Manhunters can't resurrect. They have no control of life and death.

The biggest questions/points I have are...

How does Cysupes generate the organic material he uses in nearly every incarnation?

It seems to fluctuate exactly how powerful any individual piece of cysupes is; for instance, his Superman bits supposedly survive the longest when he gets incinerated by GL...however twice after that we see his metal skull is the only piece left of him.

What kind of metal is he using? Is it stronger or weaker than the superman parts? Is there *any* logic to how he distributes his flesh and metal? I know in the initial Superman imposter days, there was something of a rhyme and reason, but sometimes we can't tell how much of him is either, or whether it even matters....for instance, when he traps Electric Superman he mentions using supes' DNA to reinforce the material around supes or something.

Hank creates yellow rings on the fly in mid-battle.

From that point on, he keeps his rings in battle.

When/where did he create the rings? Unless I'm missing something, the third scan looks like he has them on his robotic hand already but a coloring error makes them look like they're not there. (There's another coloring error on the 4th page that gives at least 3 SC members green rings and 2 of them green force fields so I think it's possible.) Just looking for clarification.

Check out his robotic hand in the first 2 scans as compared to that last few. Even the way the hand looks is different. The page where you see him finally use the rings, he blasts with that hand and then afterwards the rings are clearly visible and bright yellow after that.

I didn't want to, but I agree with Avlon here. It makes sense, considering...

Manhunters have power batteries in their heads. It's technology. Hank is their fraggin grandmaster. He's UPGRADED those guys. Naturally, a being lesser than him that can create a power ring...means he should be able to, as well.

Exactly, he's also been able to tap and knows the guardians secrets...which includes their tech.

I believe you had an instance in which Hank leaves Superman in the dust?

I think it's plausible, it's just that on one page he's in a cemetery on Earth and the next he's in space. Obviously time has passed that is not shown, so maybe he didn't create the rings but got them in that time or something since it's not stated that he made them. I think he could, but just because he could doesn't mean he did.

I saw Hal Jordan cover his hands in yellow rings from just sticking his hand near a Manhunter head; creating rings doesn't seem to be all that difficult if you have the tech.

I love Cyborg Superman, because he is such a human and tragic figure. Never say that DC can't do human characters.

Also it really makes you wonder, just how many parrallels to Marvel are there in the DC universe. How close are the two universes really.

I just realized that Superman truly did throw Erads into the sun and create the Cyborg. It's not a retcon.

There's another part I missed. Terri and Superman are talking later and Terri says that Supes couldn't have caused it. Are there time zones in space?

With a glance, he sums up deep space and effortlessly calculates a course that will keep Doomsday from intersecting with any natural space phenomena.

Even the device he instantly creates is pretty high tech...most alarms don't work from light years away...

Following up....weeks later the asteroid is light years away. Henshaw has the strength to toss objects out of the Solar System at far ftl speeds as it still on some kind of trajectory that he calculated.
