Superman doesn't need a soul. It's a proven fact. Him and SUperboy? they're gods. Soulless gods. If Kain takes there soul away they'll just punch there way back to life, much the same way Wolverine just claws through Lightspeed in the Star Wars/X-men crossover.
he has so many ways to destroy them, energy drain, or if not that take them to a place where they would be hopelessly destroyed, a dimension where there is no powersource for them, he has various powers
