It did. Don't let your fanboyism cloud your judgment. The gunplay was horrible and the enemy's AI was to laugh at. Vincent is one of the coolest video game characters ever and Square-Enix doesn't even try to give him a good game.

ESB -1138 Sonic Speed Gender: Male
The game could have been a lot better but now it seems Square-Enix is just interested in making money off of FF7. Advent Children (as cool as the fighting was) sucked. There was no story/plot development anywhere in there. Heck no one can tell me why Tifa battled Loz. He came in and asked where his mother was and Tifa just tries to beat the crap out of him. I watched the movie over and over and over again asking myself, "what is going on?"
