I wanna ask something; storylinewise, does Akuma has to catch someone first before doing his Shun Goku Satsu like in the game or does he just go straight to the attacks when he's close?

Just wanted to jump in and say, you can't say shin Gouki is more powerful than ONI based upon ONI's one ending. That's just one showing, compared to Gouki's many. In every ending, Gouki destroys a structure he sets his sight on AND NOTHING MORE. This time around, his sights are on simply using his Sekisei Jiraiken (special move) to erupt a volcano. That's it.
Gouki destroys an entire island in alpha and only splits a mountain in sfiii. Does this mean Gouki was stronger in alpha? I don't think so. Just use your brains people.

No one knows, capcom has never said. All that is known is, Gouki is him holding back, shin Gouki is him going all out and ONI is him taking it to a level never before seen.
