Who is surprised by this?...i am surprised it lasted this long.....but i think they gave the show alot of time to improve...but it failed week after week...season after season...Tim Kring really let a great show fall far from its height
This season has been really good so far. Flashback of the old Heroes. And has actually gotten better and better . Season 3 tanked pretty early on . So somebody over in the Heroes writting land is stepping up there game.
Heroes has never been a great show. It's always been an underwhelmingly "ok" show. Slightly enjoyable but not even approaching great. It seems people like to pretend that season 1 was so awesome and so much better than it is now when it's pretty much still on par.
I love the show, and I'm pretty entertained week after week, but it's never been that great of a show (there are notable exceptions though).
I always shy away from action and used many cheap cliffhangers to keep things interesting. One thing the show did great (for at least half of it) was character development.
I will continue to love the show and I want it to get a 5th season, but if that's not the case, at least it will go away with a pretty solid 4th and final season, and for that I'm happy
that was from season 3... Thank God it didn't end with season 3, it would have been pathetic

Oh please...another poster who has a say in my opinon.....i dont pretend anything...i thought season 1 was great...and your opinon is yours.....it that hard to understand? what makes someone just think they know what i am thinking? who wouold even acuse someone of pretending they thought a show was great?....i could see someone disagreeing with someone...but a post like that reeks of a "Know it all"
That open letter is from last season, has nothing to do with the current season. Someone must've bumped it up or something. I disagree with most of the things it says anyway.
I don't think it was ever terribly clear, which led to a lot of people being disenchanted with the show... but Arthur Petrelli's goal seemed to be world domination, since he was creating a small army of super-powered soldiers using the formula.
I never saw if they ever actually said who Angela Petrelli was talking to or what she was talking about at the end of season 2. Remember when she was on the phone and said they had opened Pandora's box!
I still never figured out what she was talking about. I had ideas at the time but as far as I can tell none of them ever came into action.
