Not really a music concert but since I mentioned it on this thread, I guess I'll inform you guys that Kevin Smith has once again found a way of completely ****ing over the state of Colorado by canceling the Denver Q&A with no explanation. He's already mentioned a grudge against the state and tends to only appear in Aspen which is just a playpen for rich douchebags. He didn't even offer us the meet and greet for paying exorbitant ticket prices like he did other towns. Just thought I'd vent and let anyone know who was planning on attending.

Thanks man, I know. I never thought I'd get to see them because they very rarely play in Seattle, but I snatched tickets as soon as I heard they were gonna be here. Concert's tomorrow, I might post some thoughts after.
Next year I plan on buying tickets to a Judas Priest concert, my first concert ever. British Steel's 30 year anniversary, . I always planned on seeing Judas Priest first concert.
Why do they suck, 'cos they'd rather let their music do the talking? That's the only reason anyone would criticize 'em (in my eyes), musically they are as Alpha Centauri said one of the best live bands around.
Last week I went to ATP 10th birthday festival and saw an awful lot of bands, here's the names of a few: Modest Mouse, Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Explosions In The Sky, The Mars Volta, Múm, The Magic Band, Devendra Banhart, The Dirty Three, Sunn O))).
On the day I came back from that, I went to see Modest Mouse again at Sheperd's Bush Empire supported by Frightened Rabbit. Then two days later I saw them again at the Electric Ballroom.
I haven't got much more booked, apart from Iggy and the Stooges and Pavement gigs next year.
