You may be right. I remember Daigo saying that he was an offensive guy, but I never really seen him go too crazy with Ryu.

I'd rather a Japanese not win at all. Then maybe Capcom will actaully take the USA more seriously when they make their none Marvel games.

I never watched the rant but I heard it was very funny.

I'm just suprised that there are 3 Vipers in top 8. I'm watching the TTT2 Exhibition right now and the game looks amazing.

Weakest ending ever. I don't want to even see anymore.

Props to Latif, man. I was cheering for him. SF had the better battles, Marvel had the better ending.

Latif = People's Champ. Can't get mad at Fuudo, though. Clearly a beast above beasts.

Lmao. I'm glad. Honestly, I like the way that ended, people have been talkin bout Latif for weeks and all that SBO crap, and he pulled thru. Daigo and Poongko were eliminated by the man, I'm proud. Fuudo was an underdog to a lot of people, yeah he's good but who woulda said Fuudo would win EVO2011. He beat the man that beat Daigo and Poongko. He may be Japanese, but he fought like the bastard son of a biscuit eater for his title. I always side with the underdogs.

I can accept the results with a smile on my face. Who woulda thought the finals would be that sick, this year?!

Quite frankly I thought Poongko was the only one capable of taking Daigo down, and he did. He just failed to think twice about trying risky shit when it came to Latif. You can't just take those risks when you have Seth/Akuma/Evil Ryu's health. It hurts a lot specially when you're fighting Viper with her amazing burst damage. Still Poongko was the shit when he was doing shit like this:

I'm glad he had his revenge, perfect and all.

Also...Fuudo was the man. I don't know what happened to him but he used to play Vanilla Ryu and was up there with Daigo. Then he just vanished. Now he won Evo2011. Looks like he entered a hyperbolic time chamber along with Latif to increase their POWER LEVEL
