All it comes down to imo is whether or not you offend someone with a scan or two. Because if people gripe about it you could be banned. Ill go somewhere my free speech and my opinion isnt restricted.

Its not about being restricted, using PIS as a means to demean Supes and trying to pass of his average is downright trolling. U have ignored high showing of chars u dont like and overplayed the high showings of chars u favor. Dont come back here again if this is wat u think debating is about.

sure post it, it's probably PIS though since it is known that kallark is susceptible to a wavelength of radiation. norrin should know that under the pen of a competent writer

Considering he's had competent writers and hasn't shown that ability (it sure would have been handy in many battles) it's a fallacious claim.

30+ years not enough time?

his cosmic awareness is the same as captain mar-vell's, and his sees weaknesses and all that.

in the end, superman can't damage surfer anyway, so far only high level cosmics managed to even crack his cosmic glaze. a cheap shot from an angry hulk followed by a repeated combo did jack as well, and norrin was supressed at that time.

the best superman can do is partially ko him, but it won't last very long.

That's not proof. That's pure guestimation.

Oh, he's been KO'd before by less than what Supes can dish out.

KO is all that's needed here. Planet busting shots + Superspeed will do that. Spice it up with Torquasm Vo and it gets even better.

Either way, Uber Amazo vs tons of Supes overcoming red sun.

Damn those writers.. smile

Well im still sticking to my argument.. Supes with a megadozed of red sol rad depowers almost near immediately.. Proof was in the Ruin feat cept ofcourse there was not enough radiation to farther weaken him once expose outside.. Again it happened in the Zod storyline under a red sun his powers slowly diminished, Red sun weakens him depending on the amount his exposed..

When Supes is in close proximity or in direct contact to a yellow sun all of his physical stat extremely goes up because of the level of radiation is extremely high (megadozage) now reverse the processed steid of a yellow rad make it red (reverse sundipping), immediate depowering. The difference between the Amazo feat is that the presence of radiation is far higher in his system than the rest of his overcoming red sun feat..

Surfer would not have any difficulty replicating the Amazo feat...
quote:
Many have tried and failed. Surfer's lack of speed, and non-showings in the areas of creating such a thing don't help him either.

Amazo succeded otherwise non in Surfers caliber have tried to manipulate those weakness..

There are scans of Surfer using high end reaction/reflex speed feat in battle like say the scan below for example..

http://img504.imageshack.us/img504/...98902312rp5.jpg

Like i said Surfer manipulated red sol before, its not new or an energy his never encountered.. The scans below are when Surfer absorbs all the ships (consisting of diff. civilization and technology) energy fired at him and then used it to stabalized the Eradian sun, dont know what kind of sun but its shows him converting energy to match that suns energy configuration and prevent it from going nova..

http://img442.imageshack.us/img442/...v3103p19ox6.jpg
http://img442.imageshack.us/img442/...v3103p20jo2.jpg
http://img442.imageshack.us/img442/...v3103p21jo7.jpg

Sorry man but Supes is going down not willingly but his definitely going down stick out tongue big grin ..
quote:
Against Glads he said he knew of the a weakness, nothing was said of cosmic awareness giving him the information nor did Surfer do anything to actually prove that he could. It could just as easily have been a bluff

Its not in Surfers nature to bluff..

Surfer cosmic senses is CA.. His used it to (1) detect once abilities/powers, (2) unusual energy within someone, (3) Use it to find weakness against his opponent while battling and etc etc...

(1) http://img503.imageshack.us/img503/...9600411no5.jpg
(2) http://img526.imageshack.us/img526/...99712512vu6.jpg
(3) http://img295.imageshack.us/img295/...99612013xu7.jpg

Without using his senses (CA) he would not have figured out the happenstance in those scans, there is just no other explanation...
quote:
With his various vision abilities and his advanced kryptonian brain and senses, there is more than enough there to do what he needs to do. He doesn't need Cosmic Awareness. He has his link to Kismet, the JLA, Waverider, and Phantom Stranger to let him know when there is a cosmic wrong.

There are limits to his visions like say lead, exotic/unknown energy forms outside of his expertice prevent him from scanning someone CA does not.. Surfer should be aware of this weakness (lead), still i dont think vision would pierce cosmic glaze... All in All CA is on diff. level and above that of Supes vision, my take..lol
quote:
Supes has moved a planet under red sunlight, fought a zod that was powered by red sunlight in a red sun, outsped Ruin, and fought a guy with the strength of a planets beings to a stalemate.

Right but moving one difer than say (1) destroying one with mere physical strength.. I've explain my take on that Zod feat and with Surfers exploitation of a megadoze of red sol rad Supes wouldn't be lifting a planet nor running even w/ Flash.. On Even condition Zod II wouldn't last long against Supes..

(1) http://img68.imageshack.us/my.php?image=champ0th2.jpg
http://img68.imageshack.us/my.php?image=champim5.jpg

Not only did Surfer withstood his assault but also match (2) strength with him.. (stalemating someone with a strength of a planet)

(2) http://img147.imageshack.us/my.php?image=champ1vn7.jpg
quote:
[Armbar? Yes. Surfers reflexes in battle? No. For those saying Superman has been tagged in battle..he sure has... however, Surfer has travel speed feats. Superman has travel, battle, and other various speed feats.

Surfer has little to nothing to counteract that showing in battle

What would you say to BB reflex/reaction then towards that feat? I mean considering his able to jump in Surfer board that is summon with but a thought at FTl speed, he would have to be at godlike level then which i think we both agree is a pis therefore correspond towards that armbar making that whole issue a big laugh..

Surfer does have battle speed cept its not as much as say Supes.. He just fights far diff. than him this is why its not explored/written as much.

Man, you guys take the whole pissed off nerd thing to a whole new dimension, let alone level. I can practically smell the feces oozing out of your pores, you are so full of crap.
You are going to ban someone whose opinion is different than yours just because he finds a flaw in your "unassailable" ideas about a work of FICTION! I mean how immature can you possibly be ? I don't even know why I bother to read what you brain-doners think.
KMC is about as unfair a forum for polite debate as the current presidential campaigns being run. You restrict one person's right to free speech because you seem to think it "offensive", but you protect the freedoms of anyone who shares the opinion of the establishment.
Bravo. The terrorists have won. This is how liberty dies, with frustrated and ill-formed intellects smashing ham-fisted digits on a keyboard. Don't like what my opinions are ? Take it up with the boss. I don't have to play nice with others.

None of you are worth saving.

As much as I hate to admit it, the majority does have the rule of law. I've read older posts where unpopular posters where banned. But really, Quan is just REDICULOUS. I had to get that out. He is obviously trolling. He doesn't listen to anyone elses debate and he uses double standards ALL of the time.

1. you missed the point.
2. even if you hadn't, you aren't nearly knowledgable of all the facts required to make that kind of judgement.

its not to do with popularity, or majority. plenty of people who don't agree with the majority get left alone. plenty of people who aren't popular get left alone.

its the people who cause trouble, the people who incite, flame and troll, that need to be dealt with.

Alot of times in the review of law, if a behavior is found out to be incindatory of bad behavior of others who have been punished, thier punishment is reversed or lessoned. Case in point, A child gets suspended from school for cussing a teacher out. Several suspended students later, and there is a review. If the teacher is found to be brash, and inciting this kind of behavior, the suspensions are wiped out and if any expulsions are issued, reversed.

You sound like a Republican.
I don't care for majorities, they are sheep being lead to a slaughter.
It was my conjecture that you were in violation of civil liberties. If you humes get your panties in such a twist over something so trivial, its no wonder people can't deal with real world issues.
And lastly, you don't know the extent of my knowledge base. That is just YOUR opinion.

So you consider civil liberties trivial? Are you sure you're not Republican?

Besides KMC is a private institution and so Raz can give any restrictions he wishes about content on the site and empower whomever he wishes to enforce those rules. Your gripes are meaningless, pointless and accomplish nothing. Have fun with them, though.

Just off the top of my head I have seen Avlon use low feats to describe Surfers reaction speed and that is fine, but when quan puts up a scan you call it low-balling. That my "friend" is a double-standard. He bashes and flames all the time but since you are a fellow supporter of Superman and his friend you let it go. He posts all kinds of insults and nothing is ever said. Its all about popularity. If quan isn't insulting anyone and is posting evidence its his right to do so. THAT is the point.
In the name of Justice, you cant let Avlon do it yet threaten quan with a permanent ban, Its completely unfair.
Its just a corruption of the public perception that the little glass humanoids don't want any stones rained upon their fragile little world and an opportunity to get rid of someone they don't like.
If I got rid of everyone I didn't like or ticked me off, none of you would be left to read this. So in closing, spare me.

Yes, but I have no problems sleeping at night and know my place in the larger universe. You, on the other hand are a sycophant, lackey, and a colossal waste of time and space. The very existence of you flies right in the face of the intelligent design theory. So, as an abomination in the face of the Almighty, your own views are equally meaningless, if not more so.
