the Yakuza are a hugely nationalistic organization. The tongue in cheek explanation is that they think westerners might be big, but its more that they are so racist against foreigners that "pure" japanese hookers are too good to be given to anyone who isnt japanese.

I just saw the second transformers and noticed how abundant it was in racism. the only people who talked with the ghetto black accents were the incompetent robots, and there wasn't another black man/robot in the entire movie.
