A 2 year old gets stung by a bee, and has some type of reaction to that sting -- He's more then likely going to be scared of bees his entire life -- Not because he couldn't squish the bees, but because he still remembers that first painful sting.

DC's love for superman is just getting on my nerves,we have a daxam as a GL who gets the Ion power=lame, my pull list is DC heavy...i will have to rethink my pull list
I allready said my feelings about the sinestro war in the comic thread...started great but is ending bad imo
When kyle first got the Ion power, he was the culmination of the entire corps. Now, though Ion is clearly more powerful than a standard lantern, the oan energy is still spread out among around ten thousand other beings, considering the sector lanterns, the guardians, the central power battery, et cetera.

Hey guys i know all the info..ive been up on things collection wise...but its just not good writing IMO, its actually Ion III considering kyles second run as ion which was not as impresive as his first
I guess its their way of showing Ion as a notch above a normal GL, not what i wanted and not getting my interest, but hey to each his own
I think the Guardians referred to Ion II as the "future of GL's", or somesuch -- This might lead one to think that at some point, this type of energy might be the standard GL power-set.
