Scary Movie (2000): A group of teenagers accidentally end up killing a guy. An year after, they are stalked by a bumbling serial killer themselves.
The Conjuring (2013): A family is terrorized by a dark presence in their farmhouse. One of the most popular horror movies in recent times.
A Nightmare on Elm Street (2010): A child is murdered and the parents are haunted and followed by the spectre of their dead child's rapist.
Jaws (1975): A police chief, a marine scientist and a grizzled fisherman are all haplessly involved in trying to stop a gigantic great white shark from menacing the island community of Amity.

To everyone on here that hasn't seen the movie, "It Follows", you definitely should. It's in my top 10 favorite horror movies of all time, and it's definitely my favorite indie horror movie.
The new "It" is stupid good too. Not really accurate to the book, or the old film/mini-series, but it's amazing for what it is. It's a modern interpretation of the story, in my opinion.

The Night Comes For Us (2018) Not horror but violent crime thriller should definitely check this out, won't be disappointed some is quite wince inducing.
