Nope. God of War II ended with Kratos and the Titans on their way up to Mount Olympus to fight the Gods.
Did you play any of the God of War Games? If not, you definitely should.

Well they are rather short, but they're still fun to play and you can change the difficult level.
I wouldn't call it easy, but it's not over the top difficult either. It's just right in my opinion.
Not to mention, some of the Boss Fights are Amazing.
