The boss fights are excellent [SPOILER - highlight to read]: (except Hermes which was a joke and the giant scorpion which is only decent). Where's Artemis and Stheno? At least make them bosses. Even Hestia would've been great..

I'm hoping the [SPOILER - highlight to read]: Chaos skin and the preorder/7-11 skins aren't the only ones in the game.

GoW 3 really deserves to be played, disposable income or not.

But more importantly, I hate typing in spoiler tags mad

So anyway, I got around to redeeming the Phantom of Chaos skin code I got from GS, but for some reason, it says that it's apprently invalid. Not exactly sure what to do to fix this, but among all the codes I've redeemed, only the Dominus/Exile Arena code is working (which is a relief, because Dominus is my favorite costume of the ones known).

Call EB games again. They should have new codes for you. It's apparently Sony's fault.

They couldn't put in every god obviously. They already had to cut out a large section (another Titan encounter) just to concentrate on the other sections of the game so that they wouldn't get overloaded.

Those two aren't the only costumes by far.

1) Fear Kratos - You get it when you beat the game
2) Phantom of Chaos - Gamestop costume.
3) Apollo - Amazon "
4) Forgotten Warrior - GameCrazy "
5) Morpheus Armor - 7/11 "
6) Dominus - Ultimate Edtion

Those are all the costumes that are in the game. It really sucks that no GoW3 owner can have all 6. The guys in Europe and Australia/NZ can get 5 of the 6 costumes (no 7/11), while most of us in the US & Canda can get only 3.

I'm hoping all the costumes are released as DLC sometime in the future.
Do you want the stats of the costumes as well?

Wow, that Apollo redesign looks awesome.

Dominus seems to be the new 'God' armor this time around.

I live in the boonies, we don't have a rental store here. The nearest one is 40 miles away. I even went to the store the other day and they were sold out.

However, today...my mom is making a trip to one of the bigger cities and is on the lookout for the game for me while I'm busy doing other things.

*fingers crossed*

And, dun't care...spoiler tags please.

So how do you get the downloadable costumes? Are there codes for them to type in? I'm anxious to obtain these.

I just finished GOW III today and it was a rewarding experience, I must say. I'm going to do another play through soon and try to win more trophies.

The puzzles were fun as hell, too. The best puzzle, by far, in any of the GOW series was [SPOILER - highlight to read]: Hera's Garden. This puzzle took me over an hour to solve, I admit. This was definitely inspired, no doubt, by the art of [SPOILER - highlight to read]: M.C. Escher.

I didn't like how [SPOILER - highlight to read]: they made Hera a drunken *****. Kratos killed her by grabbing her neck. She's supposed to be one the powerful goddesses.. The Ultimate Edition gets an extra boss: [SPOILER - highlight to read]: Fear Kratos (in one of the extra challenges).

Apollo, Phantom of Chaos, and Forgotten Warrior are obtained if you preorder from either Amazon, GameStop, or GameCrazy, respectively (you can only get one of them).

To get the Morpheus armor, you have to go to 7-11 and get five Kratos slurpee cups, get their codes, and type them on the 7-11 website. Personally, I don't think it's worth it unless you really like Kratos' Fury (I think it's pretty good).

The Dominus Armor is in the Ultimate Edition.

If you never preordered from the three stores mentioned and got the regular edition, you're only getting one skin sad

YES! I got my copy of the game tonight! eek!

Debating on if I should start playing right now when I'm tired, or wait until tomorrow.

If you got the preorder codes from Amazon, Gamestop, and Gamecrazy, type them in the GoW3 site.

If you got the one with the Ultimate Edition, you can type it on the PS3.

As for 7-11, well I don't know what happens after you dial them on their site.

Awesome Game. In my top 5 PS3 games so far. What really took it from “good” to “awesome” was the fact that Kevin Sorbo was the voice of Hercules. I had my suspicions during that fight scene, but when I saw his name in the credits I was like, “Yes!!” Props to Sony Santa Monica.

In God of War II, the voice of the character Perseus is that of Harry Hamlin, the same actor who portrayed Perseus in the 1981 film Clash of the Titans and his appearance appears to be modeled after Harry Hamlin's portrayal of the character in the film.

The man who does [SPOILER - highlight to read]: Hephaestus's voice was the voice actor of Zeus from Disney's Hercules.

Is it because of that dumb glitch negates double jumping? It's so annoying.

Ropes with Desert Legionnaires in God of War 1 were far worse. Heck, that wall climbing sequence with Desert Legionnaires in Atlas' Trial were far worse.

Desert Legionnaires blow.
