Mistara shone his CLE down into the hole. He jumped down after Jacob, landing on the fresh kill. He stepped of and moved after the rapidly receding Jacob. "Briggs. I'll try and keep you updated. Go back to the dropship." He made it an order. "It'll be dark soon." Mistara didnt care if the seargent didnt obey the privates logical order. He needed to get to Jacob.

the boy kept moving down the tunnels using his skill with a knife to cut open anything coming at him. every time he killed with particularly large amount of blood he giggled wildly. but i guess everyfun day comes to an end. he tripped on a rock and fell hard. it was lucky though because right in front of him was a pit, deep and dark and sounds came menacingly from it. a sticky substance encircled the hole and most likely covered its walls. he stood back up and eased his way back from the hole. a leaper jumped at him from a side tunnel, unfortunately for the leaper it came at his knife arm. the knife slid easily into the creatures scull. the force made his arm buckle and pain slightly. but he shrugged it off
vincent caught the cards, opened them and started playing solitaire. "riker! didnt even notice ya, thought you were dead. some crazy sh*t huh?"

Jacob was moving until a slight glow approuched him. He moved with it, almost as if they were the same being. The creature came close enough for him to see and it seemed like a human with wings. "Let.. us.. help.. you." Jacob let out a deep laugh and pulled out a combat shotgun. "Not as accurate of as many bullets, but it'll do nicely for you." The creature let out an earsplitting scream that brought Jacob to his knees. "****!" He raised the shotgun and took off the creature's arm which made it scream louder. "Would you shut the **** up!?" He fired again which blew it's head off.

Mistara rounded the corner and nearly tripped over Jacob. He dived right to avoid the tripping. Seeing the 'Angel' he yelped as its glowing head exploded. "Damn close call Seargent." He stood up. Deactivated his CLE and pulled his visor down.

Mistara nodded. "More coming, lets get Kit. We gotta' get outta' tha' cave before nightfall." He raised his rifle. An angel floated round a corner. "Huh? Dammit!" He fired a few shots. The creature reached out for him.
"There is a better place for you, child." It voiced.
"Like hell there is. Go 'to' hell!" He fired another bust at the 'Angel' tearing of a wing. The creatures expression changed from serene to anger as it warped.

"Keep that light on me but off my eyes. They hate the light." Jacob started to run forward and firing with any possible shot that he could. "I know we have our differences, but you are one of my unit. I made a promise to get everyone out alive that I could and I am keeping it." He fired on an approuching angel and yelled. "Kit, c'mon this way!"

Jacob grabbed Mistara and ran faster then earlier before. Before he knew it they were both outside and almost in an instant he was turned around, providing cover for Kit. "You just keep runnin' and I'll keep gunnin'!"

Jacob's voice sounded in his head. "Awh Hell. I've seen that look before. Kid finally realized our actual chances of getting out of here." He watched as he charged him and look over at Mistara. Mistara turned, eying the kid, seeing his intent, and with one quick, smooth, fluid motion brought the butt of his rifle under the kids chin with such force that he knocked Kit out cold flipping his body over. Mistara then dragged Kit upwards. He hauled the unconscious body up to Jacob.

Jacob made his way all the way back to the dropship and set Kit down. "Ok I'm done watching him. Y'all's turn." Jacob picked up an assault rifle and strapped his shotgun to his back. He started to walk towards the lowering sun. "Don't follow me. This is probably going to get me killed, but I am going to set up a beacon to have you guys picked up." Jacob turned around once more and marched out into the now falling snow.
