However thats not the name of the movie I was looking for. It is "Solarbabie" I just found it on Hulu. Its kind of a kid movie from what i recall but that was almost 20 years ago.

Hi all, I'm trying to find three films that were all made probably between 1940 and 1968.
Film #1: Takes place on a lifeboat. (FYI, it is NOT Hitchcock's classic "Lifeboat"). I THOUGHT Humphrey Bogart was in it, but I could be mistaken. Anyway, there's this problem that the survivors have, in that they have a canteen full of water, but suspect it may have become contaminated with salt water. One guy - some self-styled expert - tells the rest that it's impossible to tell the purity of the water by tasting it. (Apparently they're all so starved & thirsty that their tastebuds have shut down.) He also says that, if it's indeed seawater, whoever drinks it will go insane. So they go on and on getting more & more dehydrated until, finally, some guy breaks down & drinks some. Sure enough, he starts to go bonkers.
Film #2: Probably from mid-50's, it involves a biker gang that takes over a town. In one scene, 2 bikers have cornered a waitress in a restaurant with no other staff or customers around. The two thugs play a slow game of tic-tac-toe on the terrified woman's face, using her lipstick as a writing implement. Once the game's over, they want to play again, but need a new "canvas". So they proceed to remove the dress of the now-petrified woman. The scene ends there, leaving the woman's fate to the viewer's imagination.
Film #3: From the mid-1960's, I believe - definitely no later than 1968. People are being killed off, for some reason. About all I recall is one scene in which a guy is leaning against a wall to have a smoke or something. Segue to a scene behind the wall, where we see a pair of hands - one holding a large spike, the other a hammer, which then drives the spike into the wall. Back to the first scene, with the tip of the spike now protruding from the forehead of the wide-eyed, horrified, soon-to-be-deceased victim. I saw this as a kid around 1966, and it was quite shocking and terrifying for that time.

Okay, there was this Woody Allen movie on that I hadn't seen, Woody Allen starring, made in the 70's. Apparently he had gone in to get his tonsils out or something, but something went wrong and it ended up that some crazy pair of doctors bring him back in the 200 year future. Allen pretends to be a robot service bot so that they don't reset his mind...?
Another thing that stood out was that sex had been eradicated and was just a release of stress, and that you went into an upright metal capsule type thing, ten seconds and DING! With clothes lightly mussed, you have been sexified. Oh and also a glowing ball that very obviously had an effect very much like marijuana
A title would be wunderbar.

It's either some sort of fantasy movie or series I saw as a kid.
There's a part where the guy comes to this mountain/pyramid and an old man sitting near the foot tells him he cannot go around he has to go over or he will be trapped for ever. At the top he ends up playing a chess-like board game against a wookie/hairy monster. He wins and the wookie gets mad. he runs from the wookie and ends up in front of a chasm he has to cross. He realizes there's an invisible bridge that he can cross by tossing some sand out in front of him.
Somebody suggested that this was from one of the Neverending Story movies - but I highly doubt it.
That's about all I can remember any help would be greatly appreciated in finding this movie.
Also there was this show that was on for a really short time during the 90's about a young boy who has an overactive imagination. He would narrate the show in his voice and the scenes would switch between what he was imagining happening and what was actually happening.
There is no animation in it from what I can recall.
I thought the name was something like Mike's World, but that's not it.
It's also NOT boy meets world, or malcom in the middle.

This sounds very Harry Housen to me. He was the guy who created the special effects for movies like the original "Clash of the Titans," and "Jason of the Argonauts."
Could it be a Sinbad movie? You could probably look up Harry Housen [sp?] on google or imdb and get a filmography.

Hello everyone. I am not sure how to use this. I am hoping to find someone out there who can tell me the title of a movie. I am sure it was late 70's-early 80's. The only thing I remember for sure about it, was a car that had been modified, so that the driver pulls up beside someone, and a spike comes out of the wheel hub to shred the tires of the other car. Not sure if it's horror, or suspense, was only 10 at the time. It wasn't a Bond flick either.
Hi looking for a film in which at the start a man leaves his wife to die in their car by being kicked by a runaway horse, they are renovating a hotel or BnB with her father later on they have tourists renting rooms he then finds out that they travel through time to see major accidents in which people die, he finds out they are there to see a major explosion that kills the town folk then one of them drops a 'passport' that he finds and lets him travel through time and save his wifes life and save the town. (think it was released early eighties)
Another film I am looking for.... a guy is driving a car and he tries to play a cd he has found not knowing it is actually an alien device and when he pushes it into the car cd player it shoots out and kills him.... and that's all i can remember of that one
What is that movie where women ruled the world but it's not Planet Earth or Genesis II?
I remember watching it probably about 10 years ago now on English television.
It's definitely not Planet Earth or Genesis II, it wasn't as old as those movies but followed a similar plot. I remember a guy coming forward in time and becoming friends? with a woman who had a lesbian girlfriend. All the women were lesbians in that world and created their babies in a lab. The world was very much up to date and normal, regular houses/flats, a nightclub etc. I do remember a nightclub that had a grand staircase (i think) and big drooping curtains, it was almost like an A-list celebrity party. Everyone was dressed elaborately. It wasn't soft core porn movie either. I'm sure the woman tried to help him get back to the world he belonged or something similar. There may have been a group of men towards the end of movie that were found living out in an area abandoned. I remember a strange huge stone rounded staircase or something? Sorry I'm so vague!
I always thought maybe I was dreaming but my sister also remembers seeing this film but we can't seem to find out what it is called anywhere!
My guess is that it would be a 90's movie, I really remember it being much more modern than a 70's flick.
