IMO it's nowhere near as good as some of you are making it out to be. To me it was a blen between Terminator Salvation and Transformers 2. The humour was fail and I was annoyed by Wayans(he could have been worse). Alot of the shots look fake due to CGI and the underwater fight scenes are boring and are shot wrong.
However, I will recommend the film for two things: Snake-Eyes and the Paris action sequence with the accelerator exo-suits. Snake-Eyes didn't get as much screen time as he should've but that's all expected due to the movie being about a team. Ray Park did an awsome job once again!
The Paris scene! What can I say? This is one of the greatest action scenes on film that I've ever witnessed. The accelerator suits are so cool. It's truly a shame they weren't in the film more. Snake-Eyes shined the most in this scene as well.
It's definately not as good as Star Trek or Terminator Salvation. It hovers around Transformers 2 material. But it's leaps and bounds more entertaining than X-Men Origins: Wolverine.
Sorry about that but when you read something you can't hear the persons voice, that is why emails are misconstrude so much, if you want to do that put and LOL or just kidding at the end of your statement.
I just figured you were like most people stupid and ignorant.
This is funny shit and PERFECT CASTINGS/COSTUMES!!!!!
Funny or Die has teamed with Cha-Ching Pictures to produce this music video about what all our favorite G.I. Joe characters really do at night when the day's battle is over. The video stars Laz Alonso as Doc, Alexis Bledel as Lady Jaye, Billy Crudup as Zartan, Zach Galifiankais as Snow Job, Tony Hale as Dr. Mindbender, Vinnie Jones as Destro, Joey Kern as Tomax and Xamot, Chuck Liddell as Gung Ho, Julianne Moore as Scarlett, Henry Rollins as Duke, Alan Tudyk as Shipwreck, Olivia Wilde as The Baroness, Sgt. Slaughter as Himself, Jamin Fite as Cobra Commander, Frankie Kang as Storm Shadow, Geoff Mann as Buzzer, Andreas Owald as Snake Eyes, Daniel Strange as Torch and Kevin Umbricht as Ripper!
What's funny? The action, acting, cinema photography, CGI, and score in G.I. Joe was inferior to Terminator Salvation. Not saying it was blown out of the water but IMO TS is the better film.
That's funny, i am the exact opposite and felt that the GI JOE movie was better than terminator and the GI JOE score was far better than terminator,
I downloaded the score for terminator b4 it came out, and would of bought it had it not sucked and only been 40min long.
The GI JOE score is 70min and suits the movie perfectly and has much more redeming qualities than terminator.
Both the GI JOE movie and score are better than wolverine, star trek, terminator, and transformers 2.
in order after gi joe, star trek, wolverine, terminator and last waaaaay at the bottom transformers 2
No offense, but if you think Star Trek was worse than any of those movies, you clearly just want retard action scene after retard action scene with little or no attention to story, acting or pacing.
I guess ST means soundtracks?
If it does then i know a great deal about soundtracks (scores) that is all I listen to and i have a vast collection of scores here is a brief list.
star wars, indiana jones, lord of the rings, midnight run, star trek, aliens, predator, batman begins, dark knight, brave heart, terminator, and transformers.
Given the scores that came out this year for wolverine, star trek, terminator, transformers and GI JOE for me GI JOE is the clear winner as it has the most memorable music and there is 70min worth.
all the rest for one thing were way too short only 40min not worth buying it.
Don't get me wrong the music in Star trek was good but too short and seemed quite repetitive.
Terminator was OK and could of been redemeed had they added in Elfmans variation of Basil Polidorius's theme (but that was only in the movie) plus it was too short.
Wolverine wasn't that good.
and Transformers 2 was OK but nothing compared to the first score and the movie sucked, so i am not interested in it that much any more.
For me Star Trek was the best movie out of all of them, until GI JOE came out. i just enjoyed GI JOE more, it had a good story and great action sequences ( i haven't seen a chase like that since Ronin or Gone in 60 seconds) it was fantastic.
Star trek was a lot of fun too, and it is a close 2nd on my list with wolverine and T4 and as i said way at the bottom is transformers 2
