Alright. Time to break this down logically.
With 7 teams, everyone naturally has around a 1/7 chance of winning. This tournament has the least number of "noobs" ever in a tourney, as nearly everyone is a veteran member, and most have some tourney experience. History dictates that experience means a lot, so the teams with past champions should get a slight nod in the odds. That means BW/DC and Leo/myself/Newjak are slight favorites. DC, Blair, and Leo are past champions, and Nj and I have been successful and I've probably been involved in every tourney ever in some capacity (host, judge, participant, etc.)
Nvr's team has been getting more attention than the others, so that squad should likely get the "dark horse" moniker for this tourney.
So odds?
BW/DC and Leo/Digi/Nj - 21 to 5
Nvr/Faceman - 14 to 3
Everyone else - 7 to 1
...this of course doesn't take into account my own personal bias on peoples' teams.

A new guy who might surprise. Or something like that.

I thought it was due to his many 'almost banned' characters ?

Dark Horse essentially means you're the favored underdog, and the counterintuitive choice for a winner because people usually go straight for the team of the previous champions.

Technically, if the dark horse is about almost banned guys, my team should be the dark horse.

Yeah, it was a compliment nvr.
And I thought about counting the nearly-banned or disputed people for each team, but never got around to it.

I see it as my personal duty to beat you, given my record.
Me and Whatshisface Vs. You and BW: Horrible, humiliating loss. I didn't really understand the concept.
Me Vs. Blair Wind: Loss. But a fighting loss.
Me, Akuki and Charlotte Vs. You and Blair Wind: Win?
Try your best

Ok Thanks for the compliment.
I'm having a problem with DC++ Tho. I may have to drop out if I can't get me and face's scans together. We only have 5 battles done so far and I need scans. Is there some other way I can get the scans I need?

We didn't enter the tourney for nothing...and making someone look like underdog is as valid of a strategy as plasing numerous paper tigers around.

You have already written up your write ups for 5 different battles?

I was being sincere. Why do people assume everything I say is sarcastic?

Funny. It's like an old Russian saying "It was all fine on the map, but we forgot about the pits and stuff on the battlefield". Writeups for 5 matches? No way.

Well we have to do it this way. my partner is in the police academy so I have to get his ideas before hand and hash them out with my own plans. We are really just doing the attack plans and hashing out the amalgams at this point since there is no way to tell what the enemy combatants are going to do with thier characters. But it doesn't take a genious to see that we have to prepare for the worst case scenarios. Which would be 6 herald lvl beings blowing up the planet. Super Saiyan Jubilee FTW.
