On a different note, low level anti heroes, I have löately been reading the new Moon Knight. It is quite excellent in my humble, yet obviously correct, opinion.

I don't know much about Moon Knight, so it must not be that important.

Haha, he#s basically like the Marvel Batman.

In White.

Without the popular.

And a little less moral.

Oh, okay, haha, well, he is not really that famous I guess.

I used to rad only Marvel when I was like 10 or so, then for the last 8 years exclusively DC and now Marvel again.

Well and Vertigo.

Vertigo being the best thing ever.

I used to read Amazing Spider-Man, Web Of Spider-Man, and Peter Parker the Spectacular Spider-Man, Punisher, Punisher War Journal, a bit of Daredevil, some Batman, DP-7, Strikeforce Morituri, X-Factor, and some other random ones.

One of the most interesting was the short lived Srikeforce Morituri. Check out the description, it was a pretty cool idea.

Strikeforce: Morituri was a comic book published by Marvel Comics from 1986 to 1989. The series was created by writer Peter B. Gillis and artist Brent Anderson.

The premise is that aliens have invaded Earth and nearly succeeded in conquering it and stripping it of its resources. A scientist discovers a process which can provide humans with superhuman powers, effectively creating a group of defending superheroes. However, the process would also ensure that the empowered humans would die within a year of being empowered. The series thus focused on the heroism of the main characters in fighting the invaders, while living with the knowledge that their fates were sealed regardless of whether or not they prevailed.

That does sound pretty sweet.

You think one can get that anywhere?

I'm not sure, but there's got to be a way. It was hit or miss though. Some issues were really cool, others were a let down, kind of boring. I think it was due to character development issues. One part of it that kind of sucked, yet was fascinating, was that once you got to like a certain character, they would suddenly explode. That's how they died most of the time, they would explode.

X-Factor was really underrated.

I only liked it when they became a legitimate, government commissioned team, though. Led by Havok.

it's probably just a "hidden Mickey" and has nothing to do with the story of Captain Amearica, in which case, yes, his shield is there

Just saw Iron Man, and I enjoyed it. I thought the bit where Iron Man fights the other one was a bit stupid, but up until that point it was really excellent. However, [SPOILER - highlight to read]: Samuel looked like a complete idiot at the end. It was like he was zapped in from some stupid movie. The way he looked seemed so out of place compared to all that had preceded it. I don't know shit about the back story or the comics, but he really looked like an idiot. Arrrrrrrrrrrrrr.

It's true, really.

He's in so many movies now that it's impossible for him to be anything but Samuel L. Jackson.

He's the new Christopher Walken.
