Erik being conceited and an idiot as usual

to the topic
torture is wrong
but while i wuld never do it i have no problem with killing
if Frank is going around killing potential Charles Mansons and Ted Bundy's what do i care ?
i'll applaud him so no girl has to be raped with a bedpost or manipulated into things that will scar her for the rest of her life
better than having the filth who brought this about living in prison and wasting money that could go elsewhere

moral relativism is a waste of time
thinking "am i right?" and then "even if i think i'm right other people won't think i am so what now..." is just the wasteful philosophic ponderings of people who won't ever do anything
you need to make a decision and conviction; pick what is "right" and what is "wrong" for yourself and believe in it
your life will be better for it

Pick what is right and wrong and stick with it? I don't need to pick what is right and wrong, what is right and wrong is there regardless of whether I want it to be right or wrong.

Oh and you sir are wrong, I actually agree with Erik in this debate smile

its your right to disagree
i'm just saying what i feel

and in my last post i only addressed low life scum
what about high-life scum ?
mafia heads drug lords gang leaders....
as if they don't continue to run their operations from inside prison
newsflash: people are corrupt
these drug dealers etc. have money
1 + 1 = we're wasting money that could go to something useful on housing filth who continue to conduct their illicit operations with no change whatsoever

but we could change the equation
add in the Punisher as a variable
people are corrupt
drug lords have lots of money
Frank is ready to kill the briber and the bribe recipient
1 + 1 - 2 = The Punisher just saved how many people by taking down the head of a place spreading harmful narcotics and the cost that would go into housing them in a prison

is everything this clean-cut ?
no
real life is very complicated
but in here we're not being complicated
we're saying what would be best option and quite frankly THIS would be best option only what's best can't always be applied to real life because the best option would be a perfect option and in this imperfect world we live in we can't do that

How many people in white vans do you think would have been killed before the DC snipers were caught, if vigilantism were tolerated?

I honestly don't think that there's a right answer to this debate, cause everyone's made a good point, but there's no need to attack or insult anyone in here over what they believe. Take that as a note to anyone who has made an unnecessary remark towards anyone or any comment in the thread, regardless of how small it is.

Now, as for my opinion on the matter, I won't say that killing someone is morally right. But, I can't deny one thing: If someone just like the Punisher came through my old neighborhood and killed off or scared away most of the gangs and drug dealers, I couldn't help but feel safer about walking down the streets without having to watch my back every few seconds. And people in the same neighborhood would be a lot more comfortable with sending their children to school every day, or letting them go to the park, or their friend's house, etc.
