Perhaps the remaining Guardian energy in him protected him, and now he finds himself as a boy again...and decides to go on yet another rampage.

Or even worse...he asborbs the energy somehow and gets another powerup.

I am beginning to think that is what is going to happen...considering he has been amped by anti-matter energy(thanks to Alexander Luthor as means of compensating for Superboy Prime's vacation in that "paradise" dimension of them) and Guardian energy thanks to the kamikaze blue midget.

SMP is in Final Crisis, if Monarch is dead, SMP won. I hope he absorbed his energy. He would have the power of the Big Bang...HE'D BE IMPERIEX!!!

Idk...the big bang under his suit was like his Life Force it seemed, SMP ripped his chest open and it all exploded out, I find it hard to believe he is alive.

I like Prime a lot more. Monarch felt really generic and didn't have a great explaination for why he was so powerful. Superman Prime is an Awesome villain because you sympathize with him(at least when written by Geoff Johns). I think it would be poetic justice if he finally finds his earth and all the people hate him and think him a "freak". Anyway, I hope Monarch is gone.

I have no problem with Monarch as a character, he's alright, but SMP is prolly my favorite DC character.

Actually, Earth Prime doesn't have any heroes, I think the Monitor just told SMP that so that he would attack Monarch. The 2 birds with one stone thing
