lol, well you see, Blink 182 and (to a lesser extent) Green Day both have nostalgic value for me. Blink 182 is basically the band that got me into music. And I remember my older brothers listening to Green Day when I was a little kid. Sigur Ros and Muse are definitely better bands, though.

Why would you go by fame? That doesn't indicate "Best" in anything besides sales and stuff.

oh i understand they started in the 80s - but i find their best work to be in the 90s myself, especially CCs and Napalm Deaths. but you are still right.
