Hey guys it turns out I'm about to go out of for a little while so it might be a minute before I post in my match today(depending on when the threads up that is), but don't worry cause I don't need an extension or anything like that(I'll be back in just a little while). Just thought I'd give everyone a heads up so they didn't panic when my opening wasn't posted right away.
I'll post the match a little later at 6:00PM CST. Remember that the first 10 hours is reserved for debating, after that, people and super voters can cast their votes.
The supervoters have already been selected. They have accepted , and know their responsibilities. They will be announced publicly at the beginning of the match. Also, I want to give the contestants as much time as possible to debate, so I changing the debate period from 10 hours back to 12 hours.

I think that the Super Adaptoid mind against SS part its an important point in this combat, I'm surprised this is the first time it comes up during the tournament.
It hasn't came up because I get Surfer's powers from the amalgam process rather than copying them. The rules clearly state that amalgams have full knowledge and use of their powers so I can automatically replicate Surfer's feats.
Question to Evangel94: If the SA was amalgammed with GL Kyle, would he have his creativity while NOT explicitly drafting his mind? Would it just mimic the GL powers or also Kyle's "potential"?
The various powers your character has + plus the mind (and any experience the mind has) = creativity
If you merged Hulk (mind/body) and Dr. Strange (powers) together, and gave Hulk the knowledge of all Dr. Strange's spells, would you expect the Hulk to use those spells as effectively and with finesse better than if Dr. Strange's mind were in charge?
However, with the flip side of changing minds, is that you get a fresh perspective on how to use the powers you granted your character.
If you merged Adam Warlock (mind/soul gem), Juggernaut(body/powers), and the power gem, then you might get Adam Warlock using Juggernaut's powers in a different way. You get full knowledge of your powers, but its up to the mind of the amalgam on how to use them.
In the case of Super Adaptoid. It's a machine mind, so there are advantages and disadvantages to that.
Just wanted to congratulate every one for the tournament, there were many good debates and comments overall, and congratulations to the champion in his well deserved win.
And Evangel, I want to thank you for all your hard work and giving me the opportunity to see the tourney through this time. You took a lot of flack throughout this and lesser people would have said enough and walked away. You bore with it and it was a lot of fun.

We had a magnificent final match. One of the Greatest Matches in KMC History, if not the greatest. I want to thank all those who contributed positively to this tournament's success. As Tournament Creator and Director I am bestowing the following awards:

For 2nd Place, I award the Silver Trophy To Typhus. Even with a handicap, he came into this tournament and fought hard to reach the summit. The final match showed his strength and determination for all to see.
And last but not least, the person whose politeness, sincerity, and willingness to helped me all throughout this tournament, especially in the semi-finals when so many participants walked away, Darthgoober was the one who came back to help. As Tournament Director and Creator of this Tournament, I crown Darthgoober as Evangel94's Final Slugfest Tournament Champion.

Haha, Chewbacca growled as I read "Silver Trophy for Typhus".
Again, thanks to the people who voted and commented durring my matches, that's to my opponents who put up great, clean fights, and thanks, Evangel, for making it all happen. (First time I won anything for sittin in front of a computer all day - woo hoo!).
Alright Evangel we've waited patently, now why is this going to be your last slugfest? I could understand you deciding not to do anymore after the headache this one caused you but you announced it as the last one from the get-go.
And thanks for the crown. I'll wear it with pride as soon I figure out how to put it on Uatu's head in my sig .
