Nope, but other than catch a beat down at the end by just 2 characters, maybe 3, early in the KOF series, he hasn't done much. Don't see why he gets wanked so hard. Any character wit Orochi blood gets put over most well established characters. I think that's BS, that's just me tho.

I think if they let Orochi actually play as powerful as he was.. he'd be the cheapest SNK boss in history.. and hell.. thats saying alot with characters like Igniz running around
Orochi is just the coolest SNK boss to date, IMO.. thats why they rehashed him in NGBC as Mizuchi
its not all that bad really.. its not any more bs that just because ryu and ken know how to throw hadouken, that they topple most of the SF cast storywise..
I'd totally like to see a canon Leona and Cammy fight, as I really like both characters

true. SNK has better characters. the most complex character they had in SF was Cody Travers because he goes through a change like no one else. Ryu's BORING and one-dimensional, ken is cool but is downplayed because of the ryu-wank going on all the time while everyone else is just plain and simple.
on KoF we have characters like Iori, K' etc who have their personal stories and they are played out well. after watching the intro of FFWA you really get to sympathize with Terry and you actually wanna cheer for him to kick geese's ass. in Ryu's case, it's like "oh man, now i have to go along with everyone and ryu wins just because he's the true warrior even though people like ken train are as good as him despite trianing half as much as he does".
You know, to be a clone, it has to play exactly the same. And KOF never played like SF. It was always more technical than its rival. And this isent a SF thread, anyway. Ryu is King on his own house. After Akuma, Gouken, and a bunch of others
so... its kinda disappointing that one of the two console characters is Elizabeth... dunno who that is?.. well you aint missin out on much.. she was some made up crap character for KOFXI.. that slot should have been given to a kof mainstayer... Geese?.. Krauser? Heidern?.. hell.. Blue Mary?... Mai?... ridiculous
No Rock? Iori in a halter-top? I'll pass. The only thing that had me a lil' hype about this game was that Robert was back. &that's negated by rehash suckASSaki being there. Shame, because the graphics look REALLY cool. I'll play it if somebody else buys it or if I spot it @the arcade. Otherwise, I'll stick to playing NGBC. Hopefully the story ends w/rehash getting beat to death & set on fire. Ash too.

critical counter looks a bit confusing.. half the time it connects it just looks like they did it when they felt like.. but I've read that it has to be a true counter hit
and watch most of the DC be crap chars like momoko, or some boss you never had interest in playing
