The sensors registered the rain, and a timer on the door counted down to close and lock again. Rek slipped on the wet floor before the door and had he roll through with his momentum. The door hissed shut behind him. Rek picked himself up as rain pattered against his Hazard Helmet. "Jacob!! What are you doing!!" Rek shouted over roaring wind and, rain.
Several Gun-ships were buzzing overhead firing their rockets and guns at the attacking hoards which again were being driven back.
Rek raised his assault rifle. "I guess I ruined part of your plans!!"

carlos watched jacob and rek leave. he raised his fist, "cowwards!" he turned and looked at the still healing keeper. he caught a glance at the charges timer. '5:03' "shit!" he sprinted out of the doorway and back into the corridor. as he passed the hazard sign he slammed the manual alarm switch down. he forced his way past crewmen trying to get off. "move it, out of my way!" he skidded to a halt in the hanger and ran over to a console. "computer, open the door." the computer buzzed in a low pitch. "negative, weather conditions beyond standard safety parameters." "damnit!" carlos busted the console, then searched the wall for the manual switch.

Jacob just shook his head and turned around, while Ben kept his weapon trained on Rek. The light seemed to bend suddenly as the Normandy came into view, and a small boarding bridge opened.

Rek sighed and turned to try and get back to the hanger already ((...feeling that his logic sounded extremely flawed. Jedireaper knew that he had Rek doing it to acommadate Jacob, and Jacobs posts, to try and start a fight between the two, but honestly Rek had no problem with what Jacob was doing. It would save the world. Rek would be fool to continue to try an oppose it. The plot slipped through Jedireapers fingers rapidly and he was well aware of how out of place Rek felt. Then Jedireaper realised that to get a fight started between Jacob and Rek he would have to have Rek under the control of the Keeper. He also knew that Rek knew...)) that the timer on the explosives was about five minutes from detonation. "Good luck Jacob." Rek felt sick, sick of ((...opposing something he should be backing, as in...)) everything. He began walking away and slung his assault rifle onto his shoulders. The rain came across the Norads hull in sheets that blew back onto Rek's dented, scraped, and soaking armour. He offered a mock salute, "See-ya, Jacco!" and walked to the edge off the hull where it began to slant. A gun-ship hovered closer and a beam soaked through the storm, illuminating Jacob and Ben and the rain that was splashing on the invisible hull of the Normandy. Outlining it.

In the Engineering room of the Norad, the Keeper roared out and soon found its way into the stairwell after destroying the door and infecting every remaining engineer and soldier.

the secondary door in the hanger blasted open from the sudden decompression. carlos made his way to the ch-46, all the way on the other side of the hanger, however the wind and rain buffetted him and kept him at a slow pace. (where are the others?)) the tank began sliding backward as the ship began to tilt over. carlos quickly jumped into the front seat of the apc and began to drive towards the chopper. it began to slide out of the hanger sideways because of the wet floor. "c'mon, c'mon!" carlos jumped out of the front seat and climbed into the chopper. "go go go!" the ch-46 spun up its rutters and began exiting the hanger. carlos watched out of the back door of the compartment as infected and crewmen began rusing into the hanger, only to be swept away in the harsh winds. "hey rek, we're comin' up for ya buddy." carlos eyes began to fill in again.

Jacob and Ben both climbed into the Normandy's Bridge and slumped against the wall, both exhausted. They were both greated by a female soldier that was carrying a box of medical supplies. "Hey, Nat..." She smiled and threw the box onto his lap. "You know the rules, I'm no medic anyway" The door closed and the Normandy turned to leave the scene.

The Gun-ships began to converge on the outline of the Normandy. "Unidetified flying vessel. You are to identify yourself or we will open fire" The Gun-ships shuddered in the bad weather and their thrusters worked hard to keep them in the air.

slowly but surely, the ch-46 rose to the top of the norad ((which i think should be named the NOMAD instead)) and began moving forward towards carlos. as the back of it, and the opening of the compartment, swung to face rek, carlos exited his seat and ran to the edge. he extended his hand and yelled, trying to be louder than the wind. "get on!"

Rek ran towards the CH-46 slipping on the wet hull twice, the wind howling. He picked himself up and leaped for the helicopter just as the Nomads compartment door burst open and the 'Infected one' literally flew out of it. It immediatly reached out to control Rek's mind as the Hazmats leap brought him into Carlos's grip. Rek swung from the CH-46 as the Gun-ships returned. Their spotlights creating light beams on the creature. Rek gripped Carlos' wrist but began to slip. He fought the Keepers control and won due to the creatures partially confused state. The Keeper spun and leaped onto one off the Gun-ships smashing through the cockpit window and infecting, in high concentration, its pilot and co-pilot. They both bacame Race Lords instantly and their Gun-ship zoomed through the storm towards the CH-46 chopper. Rek tried to grab better support but in the muddy rain failed.

The Normandy came to an abrupt stop and hung in mid-air.
Ryker: "Captain, engines have spun to zero1 We're now relying on the airlifts to hold us in the air."
Moses: "Piloting controls are going to be locked for about three minutes, what do you advise?"
The Captain rubbed his head and looked around for a moment trying to survey the situation. "That was reckless of us to go in that close to a military freightor for just two people." Jacob looked over at him. "You didn't have to come you know." The Captain nodded and looked over at him. "You should have already guess that Joker and Nat basically 'made' us come here. If I remember correctly, Nat said she wouldn't repair the engines, and Joker said he wasn't going to operate the Navs." Jacob laughed. "You guys do know that I'm not ifected anymore so no more putting me in the brig."

carlos grabbed reks wrist with his other hand. "don't give up on me now man!" 2 marines came to the hatch and helped carlos pull rek in.carlos slipped as rek litterally flew into the compartment, and fell backwards."pilot, get us clear!"

in the cockpit the pilot had trouble seeing through the heavy rain. "roger that, i'll try!" the chopper began descending to where the winds were less turbulent.

Yea and the cliffhanger ending is comming up... for my character anyway. PM ideas forthe cliffhanger ending.))
Rek stood and pulled Carlos away from the open side as winds swept through the handling area. The Gun-ship controlled by the Keeper fired its rockets at the CH-46. Bullets tore through the storm and peppered the air around the CH-46. "Shit!"
The Keeper leaped from the Gun-ship and landed on the Nomads deck running while schreeching.
