The rest of Alpha was dropped off by chopper at the extraction, to reinforce the marines guarding it. Rek was their team leader but Rek had some special requests... some had been approved. He had gone alone and the mostly newbie Alpha was to hold until overrun, which ment, until they died.

Jacob had to think for a moment. "We'll probably have to make a run for the military installation just down the road. We've not seen anyone go in or out so it's anyones guess as to who is in there." Jacob then turned to Kat. "I've been.. well here. For like three weeks now. this places sucks." With a slight chuckle he then turned to Rek. "We need to move. Get into a stable position and then tag along with Carlos and his unit. We'll be moving in ten."

Jacob chuckled a little bit and put his hand on Shannon's shoulder. "It's ok, we're not soldiers." He looked back at Rek. "Thanks for that cover back there.."
