Dizzy is possibly alive. My guess is that he ran away because he knew he couldn't defeat Skorge.

He only fought Skorge because he was helping Marcus and Dom buy time to get the Grindlift into the ground. When that happened, Dizzy bolted. Tai, he's the one who doesn't run from a fight and look where that got him.

I don't know if this has been mentioned yet but has anyone else noticed that the plot of Gears 2 is remarkably similar to that of Halo 2? I was playing coop with one of my friends about a week ago and he noticed that the plot of both games are very alike.

For instance, the COG and master chief both go to the aliens home planet (or in gears' case underground)
In both games a disease breaks out; the flood in halo and lambent in gears. Also note that the lambent look extremely similar to the flood in shape, size, color and even tentacles
Both games have a sort of civil war going on; covenant vs covenant in halo and locust vs lambent in gears
both games have the enemy 'leader' narrating as you make way through the covenant/locust city

I don't, its obviously not entirely the same but just sorta weird

I think it's less Gears 2's story having remarkable similarities, and more just Gears 2 and Halo 2 having stories that are extremely cliche and done to death.

Still going over Gears Vs Halo, a debate almost as done to death (Thanks to me ending them all) as the damn games stories themselves.

They've only been discussing that the last two posts before your post AC.

Is there something wrong with the modes King fo the Hill and Execution etc? Since Epic is obviously ashamed of those modes or else they would not force us to play Annex/Warzone whenever we wanna play one of those.

Hey, wondering if anyone else is experiencing this..

I know that when a map first loads.. that it should only take a few moments for the textures to go from flat shaded to fully loaded..
but it seems for me it takes around 10seconds or maybe more.. I honestly didnt notice this happening before.. so I'm wondering if its my 360 at fault erm
