Alien Quadrilogy Respect tread

As we all slowly move to HD i wanted to to make a tread about the Alien Quadrilogy box set. Its a definitive box set with both version of all four movies Its also famouse for the amount of extres which is nearly 40 hours !! Hell they tried to do the same with the matrix movies and the superman tin set but the Alien Quadrilogy stands out as the best dvd ever along side LOTR EE'S

I still haven't seen all the extre's even if you paid £60 for it it's worth every penny .

You should, these don't have the sucky oh-it-was-so-great making-ofs... Here are all the juicy bits about all the crap that's been taking place in the making of these films.
Except AR, that was a smooth ride, but then the movie's a tad sucky.

Nice thread Coolmovies I have got the boxset and its fab, I have not got through all the extras yet perhaps I will take a day out to go through the whole boxset including the movies. And I got the boxset for £20. cool

Did anyone see the box set that came out last year ?? it had all the alien movies Preditor 1+2 and AVP movie. Thats seven movies with no extres now that sucks

You are. You are missing out on teh wonderful and very open documentaries that discuss all the crap that took place during production. You're missing the nice director's cuts for Alien, Aliens and the wonderfully redeeming Alien 3 DC.

Just depends on how much you like Alien. THe docs are superb!

It compares very well with the 5-disc edition of Blade Runner... or actually that's the other way around.

i have all those in the individual two disc quadrilogy versions i bought...

the only thing i didnt get was the fancy box...

Hes on about the 2 disk sets that came out when the box set came out . The only thing you don't get is the bones disk
