Star Wars Empire version.

Founded through turmoil,
Constituted in fear;
The Galactic Empire started from here.

Constructon is started on the Death Star.

Through assanitations and scandals;
Chancellor Palpatine gambles,
Outlawing the Jedi;
And destroying their Council.

Order 66 is given. The Emperor rises.

And with the Clone Wars widely ended,
And time of chaos supposedly mended;
A a new era had now been rendered;
One of security and peace is tended.

The Empire becomes the official government.

But as the Death Star is near completion;
Rebel systems fear the inclinations,
So they steal plans for that Death Station,
And run from the evil galactic nation.

Darth Vader captures the Tantive IV and Princess Leia.

To Tattooine they fled,
C-3PO & R2-D2 run instead;
The Death Star plans within R2's head,
They find themselves in Luke Skywalker's shed.

Leia is interrogted by Darth Vader.

To Obiwan R2 runs,
Across the desert under twin suns,
The droid is stopped by Luke who clung;
As Sand people attack them with their guns.

Obiwan rescues them and goes to Alderaan.

Caught by the Death Star the Falcon lands,
Obiwan comes up with brilliant escape plan,
Rescue the princess, and find the boss man,
C-3PO stays with the tin can.

Obiwan fights Vader. Han, Luke and Cewie find the princess.

"Get behind me, get behind me!",
Shout Han as he shoots a troopers knee,
Meanwhile Luke looks for Leia's prison key,
The only way to rescue she.

"Down the garbage shute, flyboy."

The walls close in and its goldenrods turn,
Stop the walls before they churn,
They scream and shout not in concern,
3PO thinks they are dead men.

The Falcon heads for Yavin IV.

Obiwan swings his blade,
But years on a desert have made him fade,
Vader clashes with his bionic hands made,
The Force chooses Obiwan for as a comrade.

The Death Star appraches. X-wings rise.

"All wings report in.",
The fighter pilots all sing,
Ready to battle a Death Star and win,
Only most die before ka-pring!

The trench.

Luke use the force,
Don't let Vader change your course,
Stay on target without remorse,
Then fire your torpedos and watch your reverse.

The Death Star Explodes.

Luke, Han and Chewie get their medals,
Music rises as R2 enters,
Cheers rise up and send us nutters,
The credits roll and we feel gutted.

Play Star Wars and have fun,
Special thanks to george Lucas for this one,
Time has passed it will live on,
In every fan, everyone.

-Kevin Traynor

This is very messy and has several story points, that were poetized, cut out for pace and length.

SW is one of those films that doesn't come around often, It is the love we share that that keeps it alive.

This is dedicated to the entire cast and crew of the first Star Wars production.

May they be remembered. And rejoyced.

In that I hope I starve to death before I ever have to read any of your crap poetry ever again. Ever.

That means it's really good.

With-out complaint for the barren life it leads.
With blue skys threaten gray clouds of snow

Frosted flakes speckled green on silver buds
Of the mountain rose whose red flower
Is black from snow. Droplets of ice.

Frozen flower. (A short response)

-Kevin Traynor

A plot of green, besieged by grim gray.
Crowned with rainbow ecstasy; color euphoria.
Spiraling soldiers keep death at bay.
Center stage-there kneeling-one epic flower.
Curled and bowing, in emerald shields.
Slow consumption of death; biting evil.
The
mignificat wither with their fading color.
The spiraling soldiers once adamant with vibrancy.
Zealots now shriveling in their own temporal passion.
Now at once the final guard has fallen.
The darkness withdraws; one final wave of defeat.
Slowly--now forcefully, quickly, overwhelming brilliancy
Colors of all realms pierce this darkening monster.
This humble squire of jade has become a gallant knight of gold.
All the colors now share in his yellow vivacity.
The grey is now but the embroider of this empire.
Where now the knight; king to this humble kingdom,
Rests his heavy head. Now the people rule alone.
When the darkness rises up once more to over take this place;
He will rise again to set it down.

Thank-you very much KoB. That was a lovely poetic trek through the Kingdom of the Flower.

The first poem I have ever written in six months, sloppy it is. Yet I enjoyed writing it.

Enjoy!

Time's Passage
The rush day onto end; When'st
The clang of blades in a moon-lit valley
Echoes this silvery flame that spread across their eyes;
Upon which the glint of malice
Found only in ones smile, does not falter
Times passage.

It watches without seeing, the world
Below nowt know its place upon the sloping
Tangent of the clock; a clock on which the growth
Of life, and death continues uninterred to its
Cycle of livery

Passing. Through such eyes as those brave
And haughty armies of men; onto which only
The hand of a God, so noble and just may cause blossum
In such our hearts and minds- flowers of
The valley- yet, time doesn't pay heed. It
Knows not of the plight to find happiness in life

It only knows the way forward.
And following upon this passage; a stray dog
Are we led.

-Kevin Traynor

The Title is ironic
Time's Passage-A redux
Three moons and three still smiles in pallid black.
A valley of rock and shadow, a broken wisp of light and grass.
Winds blow sickles and twirling scythes across plains; into man’s rolling hills.
And mountains of rock and fatigue laden the face with death.

A fire great and bright explodes in the granules of time and space.
Hurling across no scene with epicures of silence, nor songs of stillness.
Vibrant scenes in singular moments revivify immortal elements,
And death to those who see only a speck of light.

Grandeur gropes against an opaque glass.
And heat adds fog into the cold.
Clicking noises for a soundless clock,
Seconds don’t exist were two arms steal
And leave the rest for dead.

Swing in moments; life sways off in seconds.
Rocking chairs cradle death to bed.
Where sleeping children here the ringing bells,
And lift their head to hear the sobbing lambs.
And trees break bark to protect the bending seas,
Of man’s dissolution and death’s bed.

Mark the bells and mark the clocks with stone.
Mark the world and let the seas stand still.
Hold the leaves below the bending stocks,
And tell the flowers to send their budding home.
Where oft the time to hear a passing grain,
When through the center present is made and killed,
It comes in whispers and leaves with pallid lips of black.
With morbid mourning monstrous cries and moaning.
And three moons set into the night.

And the trees break bark and the bending sea stands still,
And the insignificant existence of one grain of sand,
Falls upon the pile of countless others before.
With equal significance and value.

Life, continue own through death, and death through time’s passage.

It has been a very very long time (over a year infact) and for that I apologise. So as a welcome return for me, and along with the one who has captured my heart; I dedicate this poem. Not the best poem in the world, certainly not my best, but here I go; back into the world of prose.

I Love You

My emotions swirl up from within me;
Coalescing outward towards you,
Gently touching you and enveloping you.
These feelings I have for you;
Reaching out and binding you to me,
Letting you shine into the darkest parts of my heart.
I love you.

I take you by the hand;
Not a care for the distance between us,
Only that you are there, that you exist.
I let my feelings carry you;
Letting you light up my soul,
Bringing joy to my heart.
I love you.

We travel through my soul together;
You, the light guiding our way,
Showing you the swirling mists of my love.
My hand gently caresses your cheek;
"Shall we go, my Love?" I ask,
I kiss you longingly, our lips in contact.
"I love you."

-Kevin Traynor

For you Helen, I will love you forever and always. xx

Thank you very much ~Bun Bun~, nice to receive a comment or two. This poem actually, to be honest, came to my while I was working on another poem. It literally just popped into my head.

Another one, about a dream I had about bread, a giant chicken called Florence, a fence that I was painting red, and a garden shed with a house inside it covered in rose petals.... The last line I added for the heck of it.

Strange Dream
My face spins around me in red;
In this house that is built on bread,
Within a rose petal'd garden shed,
Atop a giant chicken with a tiny head.

Yes this dream makes no sense;
Yes I know I am red painting a fence,
And atop a giant chicken called Florence!
And no! My name is not Lawrence!

-Kevin Traynor (and what an odd dream that was)

Years tick by; and Legends
Both young and old, have
Passed through our commune.
Heralded by the memories;
Stories and rumours.
One quote or another.
In time they have gone.
Forgotten. Locked away in

Joining the ranks of those few

In our own rights;
We all, are

By the time I finished this peom, I think it had changed almost completely. A rather ugly reentry for me.

My fiancée wrote this for me; I feel proud.

quote:
Eyes of blue,
bluer than the ocean
a blue that is more beautiful than the sky
your eyes are like the ocean
i could get lost in them forever
your voice is like velvet
a whisper in my ear
your arms are a shelter
to keep me safe
your heart of gold
is true and strong
i just wish you where here
or i was there
for we are two lovers lost
yet we are found

Torn apart by stupidity,
We should have played it safe,
Our lives have changed,
For better or worse,
Now we are an ocean apart,
For we are two lover lost,
Yet we are found.
Talking to you on the phone,
Makes me happy yet sad,
Seeing you over the internet<
Reminds me of what i left behind,
For we are two lovers lost,
Yet we are found.
I await the day when you arrive,
when I run into your arms,
I'll place my lips upon your lips,
With a kiss of undying love,
We were two lovers lost,
Now we are found.
Two Lovers
