so i guess we use batman at his absolute best and we limit cyclops from doing anything that would give him the win huh? lets see, according to namor subby cyke can't take his visor off, use wide blasts, use continues blasts, be durable enough to take a hit from a batarang, be quick enough to blast a batarang, shoot bats before bats can get to him. sorry, but cyke can do these things. his feats prove this.

now, namor, before you go off about batman using all this shit like motherboxes etc, those would constitute prep. which he isn't given in this fight.

Wow a headlock? Cyclops took on an entire X-team with broken ribs, and the end result of that match was still Cyke putting Bats down for the count. I think I'd rather get caught in a headlock and then win instead of putting someone in a headlock and losing in the end.

if you put someone in a headlock. then you obviously had the chance to do something that takes less time, like one-shot them.

i can do sarcasm way better than you.

i said none of those things. and it seems like most who say cyke wins are relying on the circumstance that cyke is trying to annihilate batman.

just saying, batman can floor anyone with human resistance, that's a fact. whether with his fists or a weapon.

He doesn't need a huge threat to unleash a blast like that. He could use the same wide-blast to hold back a rioting crowd of NORMAL PEOPLE WITHOUT SEVERELY DAMAGING THEM.

So, when faced with Batman, Cyke could put him down in one blast before Bats could do anything.
why can't you people reserve from personally attacking another poster? some of you need to go back to grade school and learn your manners.

the trees were a "special situation"(remember when i put "cyke only uses wide blasts against huge threats and when he's really ticked or for some other special reason."?)

he could go that route, if he thought to do so from the very beginning(here's where you guys start telling me what he'd do from the beginning).like i said, cyke could win this, i just think batman takes it more often.

let's say that start 10 feet away. if cyke misses once or twice and batman realizes his skill with his blast then his #1 objective is gonna be putting him down fast. you've already seen how batman could dodge a superbeam and toss 2 batarangs before TT superman plowed him into the ground. and how he stopped a meta with forcefields extremely quick before he became unstoppable(before he made a forcefield with his mind). the guy's evaded several "unmanueverable" security lasers moving altogether simultaneously with one goal, to touch him, ONCE. he evaded 5000 rounds a min, you know at that amount of led dumpage, there would be bullets literally all over the place, or "widely distributed" and that velocity is so fast it's pretty much consecutive(as far as any human eye could tell).

Up close, Bats is way out of Cykes league.

^ Ummm yeah. Batman would be able to sneak right up close to Cyclops without him knowing it. So in reality, Cyclops' long range accuracy would be pretty darn useless in this match up.

Batman for the win!

* true... let's say, granting without accepting, Batman managed to dodge the blast... what if Cyclops fired his blasts continuously? i don't think Batman can dodge all day... smile

I don't think he can one-shot him while he is in a headlock. Bats punches are not stronger than a sentinel. He had the chance but he didn't follow through, Slim could easily get out of a headlock by blasting the floor, ceiling, batman or anything and use the opposing force to push himself back and out. In the end Cyclops still won.

He didn't floor Bane!

Seriously though Batman can not floor anyone with human resistance. Batman is not the strongest, or greatest human fighter in the comic world. Some characters that could beat him:

Gambit
Taskmaster
Daredevil
Nightwing

I assume that you meant in H2H and not any and all situations so I only used people with no real super power besides gambit.

heh, funny thing you should ask.

our friend cyclops was a little fed up with the usual song and dance when getting rid of those pesky sentinels. so this time around he just obliterated them and a huge chunk of property they were on in an instant, and then quipped: "get off my lawn". he basically was like "not today bytch" and got rid of their ass'.

then wolverine said he "remembered why [scott] was the leader".
when wolverine said that, believe me it hurt him inside to admit it.

logan likes to push cyke's buttons but he never makes him crack, to see him actually cut loose a bit made logan tremble in his boot's a bit. he probably has a cyclops poster in his room now.

thumb up

There's actually a vast list of opponents with "human resistance" that Batman could not take.

I could beat comic book Batman with Cyke's powers. And only his powers. no expression

Thanks. I knew there was more, but those were the first to cum to mind. I really hope Namor doesn't try to refute that list either. I mean Taskmaster will utterly rape batman. Batman is a predictable fighter once you battle him a few times. I have never seen him really change up his style.
