That speed didn't seem to help when the Hulk was beating the crap out of him. And Thor is still slow as a snail. Supes just fry him with his heat vision at about 5-6000 degrees.
And as for heat vision, gladiator’s heat vision is hotter than the hottest stars ---- and Thor has reflected that back at him
You guys keep talking about slow people hitting fast guys it’s happens in comics.
Flash , Superman , Silver Surfer , Cm , Quasar etc all get hit by slow peepz it’s a comic , showing picture of thor getting hit doesn’t show that he is slow
I can do the same for anyone flash , superman , SS
kgkg we wouldnt bring it up if you and Cosmic Cube didnt use speed in all of your debates. You guys are the first ones to say "oh he is too fast this fight is over in a nanosecond"

kg, the purpose of the scans was not to show thor getting hit. ANY scan could do that. the purpose was to show that thor was not fast enough to hit someone moving at 'superspeed' in a fight. there's actually a big difference between the two. i recall masterson was stunned at how fast glads moved to close on him. he was not able to defend that initial attack like he was not able to defend the ones i showed.
i'm not gonna get into a supe v glad debate with you because we well know where we each stand on that score. all i'm saying is if thor really had 'lightning-fast reflexes' he could have struck spidey or mongoose. supes, in battle, striking, can move faster than either spidey OR mongoose. (as i showed in the supes/dd scan way back in this thread)and maybe, just maybe, he hit glads because glads wasn't moving at superspeed in their fight. for whatever reason.
and sentry, that spidey/supes pic is among the more misleading pics i've seen posted. supes did not expect the attack, nor was he actually 'fighting' spidey at the time spidey sucker punched him. i have the issue. later on in that book, spidey damn near breaks his hand when he hits a 'prepared' superman.

<<Nice post I dig that.>>
thanks.
<<like i said a well writting Gladiator will simply knock thor's hammer every single time they fight>>
i tend to agree with you, here that it IS possible for him to do that. some reason, glads isn't written that way though. supes, i think, more often is. and i think supes could do the same thing. and yes, he WOULD get hit, no doubt. but supes can take an awful lot. just saying, it's why i can see him winning his share of their fights . . .
Actually, Superman's supporters were the first to bring up speed in this debate.
Thor can take just as much punishment, and he doesn't have a specific weakness either. Superman can take a lot of punishment, but it has been proven that he can not take a lot of magic, and that's just what Thor is bringing to the table. Thor has knocked the crap out of Spidey, and Mongoose, and even matched speed with Quicksilver. Thor's reflexes are more than enough to tag Superman, and blokc his attacks. Superman isn't anywhere near as fast as Gladiator is, so knocking away Mjolnir isn't an option, and neither is the speedblitz. With the speed argument out of the window, Superman has virtually no advantages. Thor has at least two. I don't see Superman winning at all.

Superman isn't exactly notorious for avoiding attacks, and the Godblast isn't just a beam. It's an omnidirectional attack.
The Godblast isn't the only way Thor can win this fight, either. He could also use the Odinforce, which is much more potent than the Godblast, and would likely kill Superman. Thor could certainly go hand to hand with Superman, and win about 5 out of 10 fights.

i'm curious - you keep mentioning the odinforce - i can't remember ever seeing thor use the odin power unless he was ruling asgard at the time. where do you keep getting the odin force from, and where have you seen thor use it?
