SW is a real good game and way better than DK IMHO. I enjoy both but SW is more realistic with weapons and fights. Nobunaga is way more bad ass in that game. In fact one of the only things DK has over SW imo is a cooler looking Date with a better moveset. Date's musou move in SW isn't really good. Between the three games here is how I break down each Date.
SW
He is a very young badass who whoops ass. His moveset is alright but his musou isn't that good especially when compared to his DK or SW2. All you do in this one is fight two armies at once instead of choosing an ally like his retainers humorly suggest.
SW2 kind of ruined him but still made him good in a way. In this one he grows up but loses some of his bad assness. Instead of jumping in the middle of a battle between two armies, he turned into a lapdog who was loyal and ready to serve whoever had the most power throughout the entire game until the end where he turns on Ieyasu. His moveset is way better and its my favorite of the three, and he uses pistols as well as a sword but the fact that he turned into a servant was a huge let down.
His DK version as you know is absolutely badass, older, looks cooler and is able to wield 6 swords. You already know about him so there is no need to continue.
Just got some news that Tatsunoko and Marvel are gonna be teaming up in 3 years. Man, who'd have thought of that? First they team up with Capcom and now they're teaming up with eachother. Very interesting.
I also hope that for the sequal, they still add in the characters that didn't make it the first time. I'm kinda interested in that anime Shulato. The characters kind of remind me of Saint Seiya.
I do wish they would add in Dante. It just don't seem right to have Nero and not Dante. I know they don't want him because they said he gets "too much exposure" but to me, it seems like not getting enough exposure.
But if he doesn't make him (in which he might not) then at least Leon would, as he sounds like a good replacement.
B.B. Hood? Why? She is not a top DS character. Talbain I get, but the only DS characters that deserve to be in are Demitri and Donavan, both protagonists, and Pyron and Jedah, the two main antagonists.
I say Akuma should be in it personally, M. Bison as well.
B.B. Hood and Jon Talbain are tied for the title of my favorite character in the franchise, and it's impossible for me to care about the majority of the other Darkstalkers.
Really? What changed the developer's mind about Rouge's inclusion?
Well, that sucks. Rouge would've been an awesome character, so I hope she'll be in the sequel.
Also, I'm pretty sure that the sequel might have a representative from Street Fighter IV since the other main games of that franchise were represented:
-Ryu, the representative of Street Fighter I
-Chun Li, the representative of Street Fighter II
-Alex, the representative of Street Fighter III
