The Helicarrier scene is from Wolverine volume 3 #27 - Agent of S.H.I.E.L.D. arc, which was the immediate sequel to Enemy of the State.

Here are a few of my favorite Wolverine speed feats:

Wolverine getting the drop on a couple of Brood infested cops who already have their guns trained on him by the time he attacks

Wolverine jumps over the bar so fast, that all of the thugs simply think he vanished into thin air, even though the room was well lit and they were looking right at him.

Wolverine crosses 5 feet, and manages to place his claw directly into the barrel of the gun, before the bullet leaves the barrel, even though he only started moving after the gunman started pulling the trigger.

Similar feat, but requiring less accuracy. Still ridiculously fast

Wolverine is at least 20 feet away from the shooter, responds after the first bullet is fired, and crosses the entire 20 feet and slices off his assailants hand before he can fire off a second shot.

Just a few classic Wolverine speed feats, hope you guys enjoy them! His speed is so underrated.

So, looking back at my old skill post, all of the links are dead. On top of that, a couple of them have been reposted, so I think it's time to make a slightly adjusted re-up of an old favorite.

One reason that Wolverine is underrated as a martial artist, is that his physical abilities give him an edge that the other top tier's don't have. Well, here we have him fighting against Domina, the leader of the Neo, a group of superhumans. She has already dominated Sabretooth, killed Sinister, and handled an X-Men team composed of Thunderbird, Psylocke, Cicilia Reyes, Colossus, Rogue, and Nightcrawler. Then Wolverine comes onto the scene, and does this:

In this scan, we learn about Wolverine's knowledge of "nerve clusters, crucial pressure points, where a blow can instantly paralyze someone, or kill."

It makes sense he'd know these, as he can "incapacitate, mobilize... maim and cripple a hundred different ways":
