Mordeth knew he couldn't have the life he wanted with Gean. he knew she still wanted to be with the half-breed. "come Behemoth, they're are more mortals that shall be slain. and if we're lucky we can find a couple of angels today." he smiled as he reached another town where people ran from the sight of him. "Behemoth, kill at will." he ran in the opposite direction as the great beast and let his blades run the the flesh of many mortals
after an hour or two, he lost count of time, Mordeth looked at the scene of the massacre and smiled. there were a couple of angels down here today and now they are no more. "Behemoth, feed to your fullest. we have all the time in the world to do this. and no one can stop us." he laughed a cold hearted laugh and watched as Behemoth let out a blood curling roar and devour the flesh off the dead mortals
Satan came back, flames engulfing the palace where he walked "they both left. no one is there. those betraying bastards. they will pay for this! even if it means a death to my greatest soldiers, they will still pay!"

Ereshkigal sighed and looked away from the scene with Gean and Ezekiel. "And what do you plan on doing about it, my love? Mordeth was our best. He cannont be stopped by any of our men. Only you or I... Or even Gean can stop him." She stood up, eves wide with a newly found idea
Satan shook his head "no...apperantly she made her decison about who she wants by going back to the child. and plus, she's as dead as he is."
Mordeth walked around a mountain pass, Behemoth growling as they got closer to a small villiage. "we don't have mnay to kill here, but still. just make sure you leave none behind. they all deserve to die, all of them." he had images in his head of people when he said that and shook them away "and feed as much as you can. the next spot where mortals live is far from here. maybe a tenday." he looked at his pet, his only pet, and ran into the sluaghter

Ezekiel felt the massacre through the link between him and Mordreth's scar. But he was too weak to confront him. To go there would meann certain death.
He came closer to Gean, as best as he could. He fell on his knees just in front of her, now sweating blood. He took her chin with his hand.
''Forgive me, I was a fool to think of you this way. I don't deserve much today. But if you reject me now, just kill me where I stand. For I would be too tired of this world to fight for it any longer''.
With eyes tormented by the love he had hit, he gently placed the top of his head on Gean's stomach, holding her in his arms at the hips.
Satan laughed at his wife "those two fight? Mordeth can't even raise a finger to Gean, let alone hurt her." he laughed again and shook his head
Mordeth brought the final stab of his scimitar of his last victim right through the neck, passing through the spinal cords. "no matter how many i kill, i still want more blood shed on these lands. but it does feel good to kill these pathetic creatures." he sat down and closed his eyes, listening to what his watchers had to say about Gean and where she was at. before they could say with whom, he already knew that she was with the half-breed. he shook his head and opened his eyes, in time, to see Behemoth drag a stray angel to his side "thank you my faithful pet." he didn't ask questions, for there was none to ask, and brought his boot down on the angels head, crushing his skull in "pathetic waste of life"

Gean flinched when he reached out to her. Quietly she rested her hand on the back of his head. "I will never reject you.... I just want to hear your apology."
Ereshkigal smiled and walked over to her husband. "Exactly. If one doesnt strike then the other will. We threaten them not to return until one or the other is victorious."
Satan looked at her "they won't strike each other. yes, Mordeth is cold hearted and a mass murderer, but he is desperately in love with that fairy Gean and you know it. one will not strike the other." he looked at her and shook his head
Mordeth sighed and sat down, knowing that the half-breed could feel the killing that has been done "well, don't worry there is more to come." he laughed wickedly and wathced Behemoth play with his food, tossing it into the air and slamming it aganist the ground. to Mordeth, this was the second life he wanted to lead. being known as a killer of any creature that stands in his way

The violence felt by Ezekiel reached a sadistic point. But still, he had things to say to Gean.
''I'm sorry Gean.''
Ezekiel never meant words more then these ones. What she said had given him a small measure of strenght. He pushed himself up to his feet.
''I'm sorry. Throughout my entire existence, I have been the master of myself. I followed no one but my own advice. I was the only role model I could follow. But I'm seeing now what I couldn't in my past. Let me follow you, Gean, and you follow me, wherever we go. Be my angel, as I will be yours.''
As he said those words, he kissed her. He'd put all his love in this single kiss, he wanted her to feel it. His hands reached under her tunic and started feeling her body, like he never did before.
''Please, Gean, stay with me'' he muttered. ''Together, we have a chance to make this world for the better''.
Ezekiel melted. She had said it. Coming from inside his being, a push of energy has brought him back in strengh. he stopped sweating. He looked arround.
''Well, he said, we sure are not at the safest place.''
He looked into Gean's eyes.
''Follow me to the angel's quarters. You will not be killed, I will make sure of that. Be my guardian fairy of hope'', he pronounced as he kissed her on her front head.
Gean frowned and rested her head on his shoulder. "You know I cant leave Mordeth's side for to long. I took on the appearance of Iofiel, the angels would kill me on sight." She kissed hi neck and sighed softly. "I want to be with you.. I want to always be with you, but Mordeth needs me."
''No, he doesn't need you anymore. He has become a worthless killer who only desires blood. His lack of control has cost many human lives. Whoever you thought he was before, he is no more. To go to him would mean, for you, certain death by a way or another, or face torments that he would bring upon you both. Do not think you can control him by being there for him. He has a problem inside himself. He knows what has transpired between us, and seeing you would, I only fear, create a more savage monster than he is now.''
He paused, letting her time to absorb what he said.
''And, there is one more thing'', he looked down on the ground.
''I will have to kill him next time I see him. His actions are not constant, and his savageness, left untouched, would bring pain to the entire world. Understand that if you go to him now, you will be mixed with horror and pain, when I come take his life.''
He then looked back at Gean and kissed her. He knew it was painful for her, and wasn't sure she understood to the fullest what he was telling her, the consequences of Mordreth and Ezekiel's actions alike that were going to take place.
''I'm not doing this to hurt you, nor to kill him for me. I have to do it because I must''.
He knew if she came with him, she wouldn't get hurt. Not while he was around.

Shadow looked at Serg, slightly bewildered. He had fallen asleep, unaware of his own lack of energy, but now felt back to top form. "Serg... The Hell are you waking me up for?" He had barely finished the sentence when he saw the light go across the sky. "We need to get Kaii and get out of here... Now..." He moved to help Serg wake Kaii.
Shadow shook his head. "No, I'm afraid I don't. Kaii might have an idea, but..." He looked over at her. "She appears to still be unconscious at the moment... Apparently she's a heavy sleeper..."
He stood, sheathing Kiryu to his back before facing Ezekiel. "Why do you ask?"
'' There are some buisness I must attend to. Of High importance. I will go and talk to the commander in due time. But for now there is something I would ask of you.''
He presented Gean to him.
''I would like you to watch over her as I have a private duty to fulfill. Please, no matter what she is to your eyes, you must protect her from all dangers''.
Saying that, he flew to the mountain.
Arriving, he made a circle arround it 3 times, befor seeing a hut. Was this the place Metatron talked to him about?. As he went down, he would surely discover.
Mordeth pulled out the keys to heavens gates "so, this is what must be done...this is what i must do to make my destiny come true." he knew Gean might not come back because of how he's changed but he had a hope that she may return to his side, to make him whole again. "Behemoth, we are going to the gates of the land of lies. and this time we will kill those who defy us. all of them. half-breed, i know your listening. when i see you, i will kill you. and i'll make sure everyone sees it." he laughed and walked to a spot where he knew he can reach into heaven's gates. "this will be over soon. come, Behemoth."
Satan sighed "look, i know you'll do it anyway so go ahead. do what you think will work. but be warned, this could be worse than the war itself."

Ezekiel felt the desire in Mordreth's heart. He knew what was going to happen.
''Fool, he yelled. He is going to commit suicide. Strong archdemon you are Mordreth, but if you trespass those gates, you will find that many archangels lay ahead, some just as strong. Pray that I do not arrive at that time''.
Mordeth walked along the clouds, not knowing how he got up there. he turned and also saw Behemoth walking alongside of him, he was always a faithful pet. he looked back ahead and saw the gates and smiled "here we go...into the land of lies." he turned the keys and pushed the gates open, seeing the angels drop what they were doing and run for cover while others picked up weapons "i thought you angels were very nice to your guest. but that doesn't matter. i'm here to end your pitiful lives of lies"
