alrighty then))
A year later and Hell is winning the war against heaven. Day by day, it claims more land in it's name. Angels are few but still put up a fight against the never ending demon horde.
Mordeth is once more in command of the horde but only because it was that or to watch Satan kill Gean.
Ereshkigal is once more the goddess of Hell. Nakir is not only still alive and fighting but looking for worthy mortals to sacrifice to make them angels for the army.

Mordeth stood alone about a mile away from his army's camping grounds. He stared up into the sky, searching, thinking of all that has happened. Betrayal, disappointment, pain, loss, heartache...nothing seemed to have changed. He ignored the noise the army made, not caring about any of them. He wasn't here because he wanted to be. He was forced to do the bidding of Satan in order to keep Gean alive. The war almost over and yet he was losing. He shouted into the night sky, hating what has happened, hating hiself. With a murmur, he summoned Behemoth, his loyal pet. He ran a hand down the beast's back, staring ahead, "what do we do, my friend?"

"We have 30 humans ready for sacrifice. The others are still finishing their training. These men are the best of the best. They may be officer material, if they survive the battle.." Nakir listened quietly as her second in command gave his report. She had hundreds of humans joining the cause. Most of them were loyal to her lord and savior.. And even more just preferred to be on the side of good then fall victim to Satan's hord. But progress was slow with these humans. Battle training was easy to do.. But once wings were involved, the humans had to learn all over again. "Take them to the fallen. Sacrifice them and take them to the next level. Be sure that the trainers are thorough with this batch. I dont want anymore failure." Her second bowed to her, then moved off to do as he was ordered.
Gean was silent as she sat within her hut. Her son sat upon Ereshkigal's lap. He laughed as she played with him and bounced him in her lap. She held him as if he were her son. In fact, a part of her thought of him as hers.

Mordeth spun around, unsheathing a blade as he heard footsteps behind him. Behemoth turned and growled, ready to feed on anyone who posed a threat. A scout kneeled before Mordeth who kept his blade at ready. Mordeth growled at the scout, "Report..." The scout kept his eyes on the ground below him, not wanting to make eye contact. "They found more humans, sir. They look well trained and ready for battle." Mordeth sheathed his blade and turned back around, Behemoth still growling at the scout. "Gather a small group and tell them to be ready soon. Not only will they kill the humans when i say, but they will also bring me Nakir...alive. Dismissed!" The scout got up and ran into the woods towards the horde. Behemoth growled more, getting ready to pounce and give chase. "Relax old friend. Soon you'll have some food. Let him live for now..."
Satan rested a hand on top of the cage Gean's hut was in. He smiled as he looked at it, gently tapping his nails on it. "Enjoying your return Gean? We have missed you here. You and Mordeth were greatly missed."

Serg stood next to Mordeth, or rather crouched, waiting for a command to carry out. He found these moments between battle, where nothing in particular was happening, quite tiresome. "Master, perhaps I could go with them to ensure the capture is successful..." Serg had to carefully resist the urge to slur his 's' sounds, as his people were prone to doing.

The men were gathered and escorted to the pit. They stood at the ready as the fallen prepared for the rituals. The fallen were angels whos sins could not be forgiven. They preformed the sacrifice, for no pure angel could. Nakir set aside her work and went to stand at the edge of the pit. She would watch as the fallen preformed the rituals.
"Its defiantly home.. " Gean said softly from within her hut. She refused to come out. She took her meals within her hut, only coming out to see her son.
Ereshkigal stood as she kissed the boys cheek. "Oh you are such a sweet little devil. I could just eat you up! My love, look at him. So cute!" She walked around as she bounced the young boy on her hip.

Mordeth stood facing in the direction of where Nakir's last known location was. "Go with them, but if i hear about one slip up, I will not hesitate to kill every last one of you. Understand?" He wrapped a hand around the hilt of one of his blades, gripping it tightly as thought of Gean...
Satan smiled a little more as he watched his wife playing with the child. "Shame you aren't as happy as you used to be Gean. I remember when you were pleased to be here with us and Mordeth. Times have changed us all have they not?"

"Mordeth is not here. He has not been for over 6 months. My sons birthday has come and gone. He does not remember the face of his father." Gean spat from within her home.

Mordeth climbed onto Behemoth's back, raised a hand into the air and shot a ball of black fire high into the sky, blocking out the moonlight. The demons knew the signal well. He refused to wait for them and charged ahead, wanting to get to Nakir first and catch her if the chance rose.
Satan laughed, patting the top of the hut. "That's because i won't allow him back, dear. No, not until he has captured Nakir. It's the only way he is allowed back through the Gates of Hell. I made sure it was clear."

Nakir looked to the sky. The moon.. No. "Get them out of here! Hurry! We do not have time!" The fallen stopped the ritual. Humans and angels hurried about. The fallen retrieved tools as humans blew out candles. Several of Nakirs men flew down from the clouds to retrieve the humans and fly them to safety. Nakir stood guard as her men struggled to leave the pit and retreat to the safety of the clouds.
"I know, My Lord.. I remember." She watched as Ereshkigal played with her son.

Mordeth glanced up and seen small forms flying through the air. He knew she seen the signal, he hoped for it. He unsheathed a blade and kept Behemoth charging towards Nakir's encampment. "You're mine tonight..."
Satan laughed as he watched his wife playing with the child, thinking of Shagrath at that age. "Gean, doesn't it bring back memories of a young Shagrath? He was just as happy as Ezekiel at that age. You possibly know more than us."

Nakir stood ready as her men fled. "This ends tonight Mordeth.." She stared into the darkness. She knew he was near. The only thing that lit her surroundings was the eerie light of a flickering candle. "Come demon! Show yourself!"
"I remember him... I often times watched over him.. To the day he died." Gean glared at Ershkigal. The Queen ignored the little fairy as she played with the child.

Mordeth's eyes shot wide before glaring in Nakir's direction. He stood on Behemoth's back, unsheathing his other blade as he and his pet closed the distance. 'This is it. I will finally do as i promised...' He jumped off Behemoth and ran alongside the beast, not losing a step. There she was, waiting for him as always. "Nakir! make this easy for yourself and just surrender!!"
Satan glared at the cage as he heard the comment. He opened his hand on the top of it and let a cold energy flow through the cage to the hut. "That's enough Gean."

Nakir spread her wings and flew at Mordeth. "Back to hell foul demon!" She cried as she raised her sword, bringing it down upon him with all her strength.
Gean cried out as the cold energy touched her skin. Her flame flickered. She screamed in pain. Her warmth was slowly being sucked from her body. Her light dimmed, as did her life force. Ereshkigal laughed as she watched. "Oh the screams of pain. Its music to my ears."

Mordeth fell to his knees and brought his scimitars up, blocking Nakir's sword as he slides under her. "I don't want you dead! Just surrender already!" He spun on a knee and jumped up, pulling out two of his throwing knives and threw them towards her wings. He ran to his right as Behemoth ran to the left, ready to flank her.
Satan smiled once more and nodded, "Such a sweet sound it is my love." He stopped the flow of the cold and went back to tapping the top of the cage. "Wonder if Mordeth loves the sound of your screams. He does doesn't he?"

Nakir let out an ear splitting cry as the knifes pierced her wings. The blades were too far back for her to reach. They would have to stay in. She turned to face the demon and the beast. "Ill due before I surrender."
Gean shivered as her flame slowly returned. "No! Hed never hurt me! He doesnt enjoy it like you do."

Mordeth held his scimiatrs behind him as he ran at Nakir. "Have it your way!" 'Stubborn as always...if only i didn't need her alive.' Behemoth roared as he raced towards Nakir, his horns at level with her stomach.
Satan laughed loudly, shaking his head and pretends to wipe a tear away. "He is missing out then. Maybe I'll have to bring him down here just so he can listen to your screams. A fine reunion I say. How would you like that Ereshkigal?"
