(also, can I just laugh at what BackFire said about how they stole GW's skillbar mechanic? Blizzard's just blatantly copying them now...which is doubly funny being as ArenaNet was started by people who left Blizzard...)
It's about freaking time. The development cycle was getting a little ridiculous even by Blizzard standards.

I hate BS DRM as much as the next guy, but D3 is just too much to resist.

There's an open beta going on this weekend, but it's nearly impossible to actually get logged on. Every time you try, there's a good chance the server will throw you right back out entirely.
It's a bit annoying, to say the least. I wanted to at least try it to see just how similar to D2 it is, but it won't let me.
By the way, how big was the download for you guys?

That's a little odd. I've heard people say it was well over 10GB for them. For me it was around 3GB.
