All this "who´s got the most medals" business is rather silly.
It all comes down to how much money certain countries are willing to invest in their competitors. Plus those with a large population and therefore more to choose from have an extra bit of advantage.
India has a massive population & have won only 3 medals total so far.
And Britian which has a small population has won 47 so far.
This makes you think how many potential "bolts" there are which will never get the chance to become the best.
i dont think it's so much the showboating after races as during races...and still breaking world records, that really pisses off the officials...but **** the officials...the man is a revelation in sprinting...if it means he makes the rest of the pack look silly then the rest of the pack need to up their game
i also think he wants to break the record again and again so as to continually stay in the spotlight...and why not?...it's a prudent business desicion...if he'd gone all out and totally destroyed the world records by giving it his all...and was then unable to break them again...he'd soon fade...he'd probably still win every race for the next decade but no records broken means not as much coverage means not as much sponsorship either directly to him or to fund prize money in the sport
