I had both but when I went with Morrigan, I had to break up with Leliana.

Yeah, but, if you sleep with Morrigan after that, she doesn't beleive you anymore and no amount of persuasion works.

I tried the opposite and I even asked Morrigan if she'd like to join and she responded with something like "yeah, why don't you ask Leliana and see if her response is just as cold as mine." or something like that.

There is no way to do both at the same time, routinely. You can do if for just a bit, but after one or the other approaches you, they force you to choose.

I was completely turned off by Leliana, tbh... She's not bad or anything, but compared to Morrigan, i thought her personality was a bit... Lacking, i guess.

And Morrigan was better looking too, imo.

I did the whole romace both and then when they mad eme chose I shose Leliana. Then after i broke up with Morrigan I did al lher personal quests so her approavl was back pretty much maxed. I evntually gave her the golden mirror and she mentioned Loving me and all that. She tried to make me chose I said her and she said I should breka up with Leliana. I'm like sure but I never did and ended the game with both of them being romanced.

It was probably a glitch though

Indeed. Because I played it in a similar way. (Gave the mirror to Morrigan AFTER I already chose Leliana.) But she never said she loved me and said stuff like "friend."

I got the "ask something personal" option from Morrigan in the mansion for the Landsmeet quest, but, this time, it doesn't offer to allow you to kiss. So, I came close to getting both again...

Morrigan does definitely entertain me quite a bit, her comments tend to always be amusing.

Leliana tends to be more useful, though - I'm playing a Mage, so I really don't need another damage-dealer with me using Fireball, Alistair tanking (sort of) and Leliana set up as an archer, as well as opening all of those chests that have been mocking me. So Morrigan's been shuffled out of my party for now, having picked up Wynne (and being glad that I don't have to be a half-assed healer anymore).

Finished the game, last night. Good game. One of the best I've played in ages.

I found myself WANTING to go around to different lands after the end. I wanted like DA: O II and III right then there.

Yeah if you were a rogue, you wouldn't need Leliana.

If you were a warrior or mage, which most of the people were, you would need Leliana to open locked chests.
