I don't recall Angelus ever doing anything to put him in or near GR's league.

1. angelus is a HER as all its hosts are women
2. ignorance about the darkness/topcow power levels are mindboggling
3. ghost rider already lost pretty badle to the darkness back in newborn #1

this is pure spite, the angelus is one of the two original aspects of the universe, the light which pierced the darkness and gave birth to the universe. its powers are potentially universal in scale, what the HELL is ghost rider going to do against it?! not to mention, its friggin IMMORTAL!

id 369 which issue is that scan from btw, i dont remember seeing it.

In regards to the Angelus.
The Host can be killed. The entity known as the Angelus can be weaken. But Angelus essence can not be extinguished.

The Darkness vl 3 #11 (or 75th issue).
