It was beyond being stripped of his powers, he was being actively weakened and poisoned by being on an island made in part of kyptonite and having a bit of it in him. But again, you didn't pay attention to the film or possibly even watched it to begin with. Typical Quanchi debating.

I think this VS. bullshit is extremely retarded for this and many other reasons. "VS" fights within the same movie "universe" would be slightly less retarded.
For christ's sakes, we're adults. Grow up. Then again, if this non-sense is what keeps people coming to this forum, then I guess it's not all bad... but shit, leave it for the 11-year-olds, and the adults can have more intelligent conversations. Or perhaps I'm expecting too much of everyone! (lol, only kidding, I've noticed there are a lot of intelligent people here AND people seem to like to have fun, too, when they don't take shit too seriously). I'm just annoyed that this VS. shit hogs so much of the attention here and there is little interest in discussing films semi-intelligently.

There are movie threads specifically dedicated to particular films and on occasion sub-genres, discuss films semi-intelligently there.
There are alot of personal bait threads here though I agree and I believe are utterly dull.

Actually, it is the opposite of retarded/stupid. It means that the thread starter HAS to create thread conditions that don't create retarded outcomes. Choose the environment properly. Don't be an idiot and select and enviro that causes one player to lose automatically. Actually take the time to compose a decent OP before you make a thread. If you do that, then retarded outcomes can be avoided.
If you want Neo to fight Luke and preserve both of their powers, create an OP similar to this:
"The Trainman creates a new Matrix for Neo and Luke. Both their powers are preserved to their fullest as seen in the films. They fight in the empty city where Neo fought Agent Smith. Neo gets a vibrostaff and knows how to use it (the sign pole he used in the second film proves he can use a heavy "bo staff" with ease); Luke gets his Lightsaber. Who wins?"

No, it's a battle and they can choose when and where to fight and can sit safely above them in the heavens like they did in the movie or when losing teleport right back to the heavens just like in the movie. LOL.
