Surtur has been carrying on acting like an outright moron and says other people are acting irritationally. I don't think Surtur sees himself for the hypocrite he truly is. No insight.
Trump has been acting far more reasonable than usual since his election. It's possible that all of his craziness was just an act, but we'll have to see. In either case he's going to piss off someone, even if it's the same people who elected him.

I don't think he will be as crazy as he pretended. I think he said what he did to stir up the fanatics and it worked. He even said once he loves the uneducated and they definitely put him in the White House.
Yes, but I also think the notion that the people who were supposed to be so educated were way out of touch with the people also has merit.
I feel like even if the Republicans crash and burn hopefully Trump being elected will cause the other side to get their shit together.

And that is the rub. I voted for Clinton, and I am disappointed she did not win. However, I have the benefit of being a white man who lives in a metropolitan city in a blue state with three degrees and an upper-middle class income. Even though I happen to be gay, I will be able to weather a Trump presidency. The same cannot be said of the lower-educated, lower-income, rural red state voters who are relying on Trump to improve the quality of their lives and whose policies are actually going to make them worse. He is a grifter, the election was the con, and they are the marks, and they are not going to figure it out until it is too late for them. But you live, and you choose.
If they don't figure it out until it is too late for them then it just shows us both sides are way out of touch.
After all, this happened in the first place because one side of this was very very out of touch with the reality of the situation.

People have shut down freeways with their protests. They have thrown shit at cops, etc. You don't get to do shit like this and it is not excusable.

For one thing, Trump was calling for people to do the same thing four years ago, on the grounds that he thought Obama was gonna lose the popular vote but win the election.
