Come on... Hardcore as in the gamers who at least attempt or achieve every single feat in the game. Two of my buds are hardcore completionists, and are close to getting every single trophy in AA.
Then there are casual gamers who just play the game without worring about completing 100% of the game. Except the main story mode of the game and whatnot.
I just completed AA on easy mode. I didn't get much of an ending, except for [SPOILER - highlight to read]: Bane's arm coming out of the water to grab the Titan case.
Do I need to complete the game on a harder mode to get the rumored [SPOILER - highlight to read]: Two-Face cameo?
Ahh good, I'm glad you're not one of those people who thinks Hardcore stands for people who play Gears of War or Halo or any other mainstream game, that's not what hardcore is at all.
Looking back, I actually liked him better in The Batman (animated series). At least he had more of a personality there (and a cool accent), than the whole "OMG im gonna eat ur face when i get out!" nonsense that we saw in Arkham Asylum. As much as I love the game, it didn't really do Croc any justice at all, especially the boss encounter.
Yeah, that annoys me too. I remember when FF 7 came out, I played that game in full hardcore mode, didn't stop till I got everything and all my characters were level 99. Golden Chocobo, Knight of the Round, everything!! Ahhhh!!!!
I got this game yesterday. I like it. Pretty straight forward though. Not a lot of back and forth like some other games. I just beat Bane. [SPOILER - highlight to read]: I like when he beats u they show him breaking ur back.

I just now collected all of the Riddler trophies. *whew*
Still, the menu says that I am only 85% completed. I have all of the Riddler items, upgrades, and bios/tapes. What more do I need to collect? I haven't been playing the challenge maps a whole lot. Is that what I need to do?
I hate how you can't re-play chapters, or, at the very least, start over at the final fight with Joker.
Basically one of the key concepts to doing well on the combat challenges and keeping combos going (which I overlooked for quite awhile), is after building up to a 3-hit combo, perform Critical Strikes by tapping the X/Square button just once since your last move. This means no button-mashing. Might be a hard habit to get out of, but is worth the effort, as Critical Strikes inflict not only more damage than usual (knocking a thug to the ground with a brief stun period), but also count as 2 hits instead of 1 each time you perform one.
