This is my favorite season thus far with season 2 as the second best. I like how they handled the whole witch thing considering they totally destroyed werewolves and werepanthers.

I'm still watching series 3... and I am still in doubt whether I like it or not... By this time a non-supernatural is becoming a very rare thing. And I have no clue how humans can exist at all with so many so superior supernaturals around.

I read this and then I watched the show. Was thinking meh, nothing that epic going on.

And then.

The hole in the ground.

It was horrible.

The episode before was better than the season finale...at least[SPOILER - highlight to read]: Rusty is back and Tara is dead.

Considering True Blood is about as subtle as rocket launcher, has been dropping zombie "hints" all season and has a complete inability to kill off anyone, it's a safe bet everyone important who died will be back as zombies next season.

I thought it was easily best episode of the season (not that that is saying much), I loved Pam's anti Sookie rant. I think I'm done with True Blood now, at least watching the individual episodes the night they air anyway. If I hear good things about the next season I might pick it up on DVD, but considering the mess the last two seasons have been, I think I'm going to wash my hands of this show.

My second favorite vampire of the show will return. I immediately became aroused.

I do hope they fire the 15 year old girls they hired to write season 4 and re-hire the writers of season 3(1&3 were the best seasons) to write season 5.

But with how 4 ended, I have little to no hope of season 5 being anything but shit.

It's bad when the Vampire Diaries is more entertaining than True Blood...

Because VD target demographic is the same as Twilights and TBs isn't.

Season 5 of True Blood was targeting the Twilight peeps. Only logical reason why we go from Russel Eddington to pure shit.

Some TB exec figured out that there's an ocean of closet-boys, teen girls and lonely 40-something house wives who religiously follow Twilight; they wanted in that Meyers action.

With the amount of nudity and explicit sexual tones, I'd think its not aimed at the majority of Twilight's demographic. VD also has some sexuality involved IMO, more so than Twilight (except for Breaking Dawn). TB lacks the type of romance in Twilight (lulz). To me, TB just finds excuses for characters to bone each other and its bloody annoying. I honestly just treat those scenes as "fillers" cause the writers are too lazy and usually skip them. I watch TB for the action and of course the badassery of certain vampires.

BTW, Twilight's main audience:

- Teen girls
- Pedophiles

Yep. Would have loved to see how Godric and Eric would have dealt with Russel.

Not sure if most parents would be aware what they're 15 year old daughter is watching on cable or possible even care all that much over some gore, Erik's ass and Sooki's t!tties.

I've driven by the lines of the last Twilight, there was many an adult woman standing in line all giddy.

Good call on the pedophiles though, didn't factor in that crowd.
