Check out these first look pics of Even Rachel Wood in True Blood as Vampire Queen of Louisiana, Queen Sophie-Ann.

The 21-year-old actress will make her debut in the August 30 episode when a desperate Bill (Stephen Moyer) seeks Sophie-Anne’s advice.

“Nobody’s ever entirely happy to see her [character]” series creator Alan Ball tells EW. “She’s very powerful, capricious and most likely insane. [She] has more than one secret agenda, which we will slowly become aware of over season 3.”

tonight's show was very good... i'd say the second or third best this season..


i especially liked [SPOILER - highlight to read]: Maryann cutting up that heart like it was a piece of mat and then preparing it for dinner

you have a feeling something will happen? Really because I thought maybe the screen would just be black for 50 minutes with nothing going on.

I will say they do a good job ending each episode with a bit of a mini cliff hanger so people are eager to see more. I actually look forward to catching up with True Blood on Mondays more than I do Entourage now.
