He's actually been talked about several times in the tiers thread, and been shot down each time (though not without people on both sides). That's one of the few that we actually don't need to revisit. But yeah, a few others can and should be moved. Speedy among them.
Nimrod is High Meta, but Darwin is low Herald.
The tier list does need to be re-visited, its just a pain in the arse.

So are KFish and I seriously the only ones having a match right now? Woot. And here I thought the finals would be the only time that happened. Looks like I get two weeks in the spotlight though.
...then I get to rest while the rest of you plebians duke it out next week.

Have to admit I didn't understand that either.

Better stop posting and let Digi do yard work, more like ( ). Matches are stressful things for me. I like writeups, but not having to check all the time for new posts and such...because even if I don't respond immediately, I like to think about it, and you can only do that so much with a limited time frame for a match.

I was thinking about fielding an all-jobber team for my bye-week just for yucks, but don't want to risk losing parts of my team that I plan on keeping.

Thought about Moonstone myself at one point.
Blair/Smurph, try not to drop Hank if possible. The wonder twins here might just get lazy.

I think I could outdebate you.

Good for you. But that has nothing to do with anything. Quit trying to bait people, particularly someone like myself who has neither the aggressive nature nor the desire to even talk to you.

Meh, there are tons of growing characters to chose from if we were to do that (and we already are being lazy ... we drafted Spiral and Moonstone on the strength of already having their scan feats from previous tourneys)

That's not really lazy though. You debate best with those you know well. Why do you think Minion is the most likely to stay on my team the whole tourney? Doctor, Thor, Adam Warlock, Spidey. My tourney record is rife with such "laziness." Research is for chumps.

but innovation is more likely to impress judges

Depends on the judge. I always thought that a better overall team/strategy impressed judges, but I guess some are that shallow ( ).
And my comment was obvious sarcasm. Everyone here has researched dozens of characters if they hope to win.
And you're probably still baiting. Or at least just saying things without any sort of evidence. Either way, meh to anything you say.

We have?
Do you count having read comics for a few years as research?

I just inputted my 2 cents. Just thinking that if I were a judge, and I read the same strategy over and over again, no matter how solid, I would get bored and lose some interest. Whereas if I saw if innovative strategies employed (they must be solid as well), I would def be more inclined to award some points just for creativity alone.
anyways, just my humble 2 cents.
