All the others appearances listed are clearly featwise ones. Though I'm not to bury Praxagora, just wanting Delph's ruling on Annihilation #3 appearance (whether it's valid or not), so that no Air Wave III problem is to be repeated.
Scott Fitz (23.11.2008 18:05:12): A dialogue page doesn't count as a full appearance. The rule is a character needs feats and to be a pivotal part of the comics plot, not just appearing on one page posing.
Svetlana Plyshevskaya (23.11.2008 18:05:42): I'll show you what Praxagora has in Annihilation #3
Svetlana Plyshevskaya (23.11.2008 18:05:53): And you decide, whether it's legal or not
Svetlana Plyshevskaya (23.11.2008 18:06:48): The issues where there was simple posing (with scans of said posing minus Annihilation Conquest #2 pg13-14 which won't upload) were posted
Svetlana Plyshevskaya (23.11.2008 18:09:03): Annihilation #3, hovever...
Svetlana Plyshevskaya (23.11.2008 18:11:17): http://img92.imageshack.us/my.php?i...tion3005cm1.jpg
Svetlana Plyshevskaya (23.11.2008 18:12:36): http://img222.imageshack.us/my.php?...tion3007rv8.jpg
Svetlana Plyshevskaya (23.11.2008 18:13:28): http://img149.imageshack.us/my.php?...tion3027iz0.jpg
Svetlana Plyshevskaya (23.11.2008 18:13:41): There are three pages Praxagora is appearing on in the issue
Svetlana Plyshevskaya (23.11.2008 18:14:07): Thus this one is causing doubts for me
Svetlana Plyshevskaya (23.11.2008 18:14:51): If it's valid, then Praxagora is under 10 issues quota, if not- she isn't
Svetlana Plyshevskaya (23.11.2008 18:17:37): Considering she's dead it's unlikely she'll appear anymore soon
Scott Fitz (23.11.2008 18:18:04): Looks like just a flying tackle on that one page, and a pose on the other...
Scott Fitz (23.11.2008 18:18:04): Hmm...
Scott Fitz (23.11.2008 18:18:21): That's the problem with using the new ambiguous characters
Svetlana Plyshevskaya (23.11.2008 18:18:28): Not flying tackle, carrying an unconsious K'rlt
Scott Fitz (23.11.2008 18:18:37): lol
Scott Fitz (23.11.2008 18:18:43): Which makes it even worse
================
Delph ruled Annihilation #3 as featless appearance, so sorry Smurph, but you have to redraft.
Also so that nobody expresses concerns- the version of Hellion I've drafted for 25 points is the one previous to the amp he has received in New X-Men 31 (to stay on safe side).
I would think that as long as he's not becoming anyone over 25 points in his shape-shifting, that he would be ok. Spider-Woman and Cannonball definitely aren't above that level, so I'd be ok with that if that's all it is. Unless it's considered power copying, in which case it's a different matter entirely.
In fact, New Mutants Annual #3 is largely joke issue and he has never displayed any funky shifting apart from that (the shapeshifting competition with Impossible Man=his best shifthing feats so far).
It's information. Souls were approved as information for match-to-match retention. That's the entire point of the ruling, which was made with full knowledge of the situation, and has been repeated through multiple complaints.
I'm bored as well, btw, but have to keep telling you the same thing because you're raising the exact same objections. Maybe you can start copying/pasting my posts after yours just to make things easier?
...
Btw Bada, delph doesn't have to read everything, and has actually already dealt with this issue. And we're entitled to discuss the tourney. No one was bashing, and it was on-topic. Closing a thread because you don't want to see a discussion happen = ...so what if there were similar arguments? They felt the need to express their opinion, and I have to defend myself because it's my team in question.
as long as we keep our opinions and disagreements respectful and not personal, we should be free to discuss on the discussion thread and hash things out, as thats what the thread was intended for.
the reason we get repeat posts is that we're communicating complex ideas that would be better responded to in real time (ie chat or phone) which is why discussion thread isn't quite as effective...but its the best we've got.
Here, later in the tourney, the difference between "internalising" magical items during prep and keeping it in further matches (ruled illegal) and soul absorbing (ruled legal) was established.
