Oh!

I meant that if Terrax had the brains, he could make his axe do those things. The power cosmic can do anything.

You say that, but what limits does it have?

It can resurrect people, evolve things, go through time and space, control just about anything.

All depends on the reserve, and the user. SS can't have the same control as Galactus would have, correct?

Fine control, no idea.

But he can't accomplish things on the same scope.

I think it depends on the level/amount of PC Galactus placed on them to replace their life essence.. The higher the manipulation the more pc is required, the less pc stored > lesser ability (energy/matter manipulation).. Of course control /\ /\

Galactus does not make his herald equal, just take a look at how he gave current Surfer a choice for more/newer power..

Ouch.

the persuader's axe can cut between atoms. can terrax's? not that i've seen. can terrax's axe cut throgh gravity or air itself?

Seriously. Cutting between atoms, thru air and gravity isn't all that impressive compared to what the PC has been shown to do.... :-/

i never said it was.

my point is that for terrax to replicate persuader's feat, he'd have to amp/alter that axe of his.

and persuader gave him barely a cut.

but that begs the question: has persuader ever oneshotted anything close to a planet?

That's not the same. A sword, ax or weapons that people consider piercing time are different then attacking with a mace, hammer, fist..etc.

sure, but he cut superman, not time.

terraxe's axe slam had enough juice to cut a planet in two, i'm pretty sure he could at least nick superman.

the kinetic energy alone would make him take a nap similar to the one he did when connor clocked him. i think that's fair.

and if he hadn't, what difference would that make? i'm not saying terrax's axe wouldn't hurt superman. carver (as usual) just tried to take something and make it look as piss poor as possible to make superman look bad. i was only replying in that context.

You may believe I'm arguing just for argument's sake... but taking for granted that the corpses were as powerful as the originals (fair to do with suspension of disbelief), that still is one heck of a case of Inverse Ninja Law...

... reminds me of when Cap fought manifestations of all his greatest foes in Operation: Galactic Storm, etc. I'd like to think that you believe me when I say I'm not being disingenuous about this.

I don't see why they would be different. We're talking about the extent of damage one type of weapon can inflict.

Not really sure what you're trying to say here. The axe, after all, is a cutting weapon (not a mace/hammer/fist) and we've seen the PC being able to bend time/space to its will.

I think the main debate here is that whether or not Terrax can inflict considerable damage to Supes if he manages to land a direct hit and I'm sure it is safe to say that this applies. Unless we've seen Supes tank (without damage) shots that one-shot planets.
