All depends on the reserve, and the user. SS can't have the same control as Galactus would have, correct?

I think it depends on the level/amount of PC Galactus placed on them to replace their life essence.. The higher the manipulation the more pc is required, the less pc stored > lesser ability (energy/matter manipulation).. Of course control /\ /\
Galactus does not make his herald equal, just take a look at how he gave current Surfer a choice for more/newer power..
That's not the same. A sword, ax or weapons that people consider piercing time are different then attacking with a mace, hammer, fist..etc.

and if he hadn't, what difference would that make? i'm not saying terrax's axe wouldn't hurt superman. carver (as usual) just tried to take something and make it look as piss poor as possible to make superman look bad. i was only replying in that context.
You may believe I'm arguing just for argument's sake... but taking for granted that the corpses were as powerful as the originals (fair to do with suspension of disbelief), that still is one heck of a case of Inverse Ninja Law...
... reminds me of when Cap fought manifestations of all his greatest foes in Operation: Galactic Storm, etc. I'd like to think that you believe me when I say I'm not being disingenuous about this.
I don't see why they would be different. We're talking about the extent of damage one type of weapon can inflict.
Not really sure what you're trying to say here. The axe, after all, is a cutting weapon (not a mace/hammer/fist) and we've seen the PC being able to bend time/space to its will.
I think the main debate here is that whether or not Terrax can inflict considerable damage to Supes if he manages to land a direct hit and I'm sure it is safe to say that this applies. Unless we've seen Supes tank (without damage) shots that one-shot planets.
